Maglie is not a tourist town so staying there is a good idea to be away from the hustle and bustle of those areas and parking is easy. I would call it off the beaten track and we were the only tourists there that we noticed! It is close enough to everything with a car since it is in the center of Salento. Driving and parking in Puglia can be a challenge but not in Maglie. It is a very quiet town that has everything one can need in a town - restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy etc.

This boutique hotel is stunning. Our room was spacious, practical and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower a lovely strong rain shower. We arrived last minute and we’re greeted with warmth and hospitality. We had a great tour of the entire restored covent of 4 rooms and several terraces. We enjoyed the simple breakfast of pastry fresh oj and caffe at Martinuccis. We will definitely return and recommend.

Awesomely quirky - the hotel has been converted from an old leather tanning factory, without losing it's character. still with loads of original rooms and workshops, all the floors are carefully and tastefully laid as not to ruin the original look
