- Room was lovely and was really clean! Lovely toiletries in the room too. Loved the beach bag that could be used and you could use beach towels everyday (even when not using private beaches!)

The staff and service are excellent, they are considerate and resourceful. They arranged morning yoga, boat trip and kayaking for me. I really enjoyed the Kayaking beach hopping experience. Lorenzo is a very good guide for kayaking and a good photographer. Highly recommended!

Cannigione is a lovely setting with some great beaches. This is a lovely refurbished house, an original before the appearance of the modern day chalets.The views from the terrace towards La Maddalena are quite breathtaking given it is at the highest part of Cannigione..The surrounding area is very peaceful with cacti and olive trees, only one neighbour in the lower part of the house and another hidden in an adjacent finca. The house is simple, spacious and clean with all amenities covered. There is an exterior bedroom with bathroom on the terrace with its own key which is also advantageous for larger parties. The whole house therefore sleeps six comfortably. A sofabed sleeps a further two.
The house takes recycling seriously. The washing machine makes life easier, especially if you have kids.
Anna Maria speaks Italian and Spanish and was very helpful.

Majority offering similar cuisine - pasta, pizza & seafood. The more expensive offered fresh fish of the day & "cordon bleu" style cooking.

Plenty to keep you occupied, but I would suggest hunting a car/scooter if staying longer than 7 days.

We visited Cannigione during early October.
We visited Cannigione during early October. I imagine during high season it would be very busy. Beautiful area. Good spot for a drink is Cutter not sure I would go for anything more than a snack though.
We ate in La Randa twice, both were good meals, upstairs on main street.
La Zattera also on main street was tasty. Best of all was Brezza di Mare which was a notch above and lovely .
We hired a car from the airport on arrival and visited St.Teresa de Gallura which was worth the trip and Palau both were enjoyable. In Palau we acme across a great take away lunch place overlooking the marina. Food there was delicious. Was quite easy to miss though, It was called NICE Pizza al Porto. It was hard to choose!
We visited the craft village inland and travelled around the Costa Smeralda stopping off at several beaches.
In a nutshell I would say Cannigione made a very good base.
Li Finistreddi is a pure gem in the heart of the Sardinian countryside. With a panoramic view of the sea, it is a modern, tastefully designed hotel with fine dining, and exceptional facilities, especially the pools. Within easy reach of Olbia airport and lots of nearby interesting archeological sites. Eduardo, with his love of great wines, and his colleagues made our stay particluarly memorable. The property is beautiful, the view brought about so much peace and tranquillity. Chiara was always available to respond to our messages and is very lovely too. The little town of Cannigione just 5min drive from the house is very cute and offers all basic needs, you can also hire a boat from the marina - Chiara can help with that.
Stylish and beautiful boutique hotel of the highest standard. Immaculately clean with every attention to detail catered for. We were greeted with the most amazing welcome from reception and offered welcome drinks upon arrival, which was a nice touch. We loved the ambiance at the hotel, very serene and friendly atmosphere.
The hotel was extremely clean, the staff very friendly, polite and always willing to help accommodate your needs. The decoration fantastic to the detail. The terrace bar with delicious cocktails and finger food. Absolutely recommend and would go back.
