I've been to Lignano (Sabbiadoro and also Pineta) several times and I like it. Sandy beaches are shallow, but you don't have to walk far if you want to swim. I definitely recommend trying out local restaurants.

I have spend some days in every year in Lignano Sabbiadoro...
I have spend some days in every year in Lignano Sabbiadoro from 2006. It is changed in some points but reserved the original feeling of it. Suits to families with smalls as it is relaxing for young adults as myself in 50+. You can take a trip on a sea by boat, can visit old hotels with amazing old photos on the walls from '60's when its all started, Pineta is a little bit differ from the easter part of the semi island. Worse to visit the zoo, ride on an electric scooters if you dare, eat italian foods, sea foods, and enjoy the people there. If you can start discuss with older hotel owners, just to change your culture, share opinions on todays topics. Really good place, for affordable price.

A peaceful place that felt tranquil and relaxing. Loved cycling along the cycle route created that circled the area running through a lovely wooded area and, along the natural beach where herons and others can be seen and observed from a platform area. Lignano's shops etc are easy to reach within 20 minutes. The main shopping districts are off the beach. I ate at beach cafes and also local restaurants within yards of Hotel Danielle, This is a great place to walk about or cycle. | would avoid the e bikes because the distances do not require it unless of course you like them, I hired an e bike for 35 euros a 24 hour period and then switched to the free hotel bicycle.

It is a city where everybody can find something: starting from small babies - all infrastructure in the beach is prepared for it till the teenagers' to the older people including people with disabilities.

It was very close to the beach, and also in my opinion to the best restaurants in Lignano Sabbiadoro. The breakfast was also good. It wasn't anything special, but the coffee was satisfactory and it is enough to get you started with your day. You are getting what you are paying and to be fair it's more than enough. Plus the whole staff is super friendly despite having to deal with the regular guests and their attitudes.
The location was great, close to the beach, close to the city centre, restaurants, everywhere. You can park your car in the garden. Breakfast was great - a good choice of everything. The owner of the hotel was very helpful in all aspects. You can rent hotel bikes for free.
