The location was pefect to venture out to Volterra, Siena and even Portovenere. Close to multiple wineries and of course the Andrea Bocelli concert was so close you could literally walk to it.

The location was perfect for walking to our Concert to see Andrea Bocelli. Host was excellent. Apartment was spacious and greatly outfitted. Bathtub was an amazing amenity.
This is a nice holiday house with around 10 apartments. Each has assigned dining area outside, which is a very nice idea. There is also a sufficient number of sun beds around the pool and in the surrounding area. The location is close to a main road but not so close that noise is a problem. It is better to have a car for morning grocery. The closest shops are ca. 2 km. away in Laiatico. In principle one can walk there but I don't think it's a nice walk. Washing machine and dryer simplify longer stay.
We were in this family hotel for 5days in October and just loved it. It is good location to go around and visit Pisa, Siena and all the lovely small towns around. Our lovely host Franceska made sure to give us directions and that we have everything we need during our stay. Even my special diet. Much appreciated. And a great cook.Thank you. ❤️
Me and my partner booked a last minute stay at Il Maramaldo. We chose the room because of the comfy bed, and clean interior. The location is perfect at walking distance from restaurants and bars in Lajatico. Breakfast was as you would expect for a hotel this size. Compliments to the friendly staff & keep it up!
Beautiful hotel; very clean, pleasant views from some of the rooms (rear) and the grounds and has lovely outside areas around the pool and a lounge area with books and games. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast.
Breakfast was the only downside as no hotel breakfast the night we were there. We had a bag of oranges and small croissants delivered the night before but no hot drinks available the next morning which was poor.
