This lower area of Lagundo, where my hotel is, is not the best. There is another area of Lagundo, higher in the side of the mountain, with better view and nicer ways to take a ride.
But Lagundo is often chosen to stay, because it's near Meran. Center of Meran is about 2,5 km from the hotel. From my point of view, Meran is a must in Sudtirol (and in the Alps).
beautifully situated under the castle near the river with views over to the mountains next to the excellent brewery. A pretty well perfect small hotel/restaurant with great food and attention to every detail.
The hotel has a spectacular view on the valley. It's outside the village, on a quiet road among orchids of apples.
The staff is polite. Breakfast and dinner were good and they provide a good variety.
Amazing tarrass with beautiful view, very good pool with different levels of deepness. Fantastic shower!
