Excellent location near a very nice restaurant by the lake. Make sure to book a table in advance. We had fresh cornettos for breakfast from a nearby bakery. The host was very attentive and took good care of us during our stay. I recommend staying here.

The room was lovely and spacious for three of us (two adults, and then a teenager in the sofabed). Aircon was superb, the best we had during our multi-stop holiday. So many amenities given in the bathroom and the coffee/snacks. Parking was no problem (though tricky if you arrive late, possibly) and the location fronting on to the lake was wonderful. Note there isn't really any shop in immediate walking distance if you need anything, but the likelihood is you'll be moving around the area anyway. Breakfast was delicious, a nice hot and cold selection and eaten while sitting outside under parasols. I would definitely return here.

I have a wonderful stay here, the view is stunning and the property was very clean and tidy,
The kitchen was fully functional, with utensils to use, and some condiments.
The balcony was lovely and really added to the experience.

Our hotel, San Marino, was on the main north south route above the old lakeside road. To get a better impression we walked down what appear to be ancient alleys between old properties to reach the lakeside road which is more atmospheric. Good exercise too.

the room is horrible, very uncomfortable beds; besides they gave me a different room than the one I booked, in the cassock literally, we had the room the previous guest's trash, good air conditioning for the summer season .

Laglio is a small Village on the lake side of Como.
Laglio is a small Village on the lake side of Como. At around 15km from Como it is not the easiest place to travel to unless you have a car. There are a few Restaurants in the area and one shop, however if you are looking for somewhere with lots going on then this isnt the place. As we were a larger Group this was not an issue as we spent most of the Weekend in our Villa, as a small Group it could be a little quiet.

Laglio itself is small, but Cernobbio, ten minutes drive south, is much larger and has plenty of facilities. However, Cernobbio accommodation is very expensive, while Laglio is much cheaper. If you have a car, Laglio is better value.
The view from the terras is amazing. We had bad luck because during our 11 nights stay we had lots of rainy days, we were glad with so much space inside. It is very cosy, you will find everything you need in the kitchen. The shower on the top floor is good. And parking is also convenient. We would definitely return. Also we liked the communication with the host (and the owner). For us it was the first time in Laglio, we liked Da Luciano (bar at the lakeside, 5 minutes walk down the stairs). Try the steak and the meatballs.
Villa Albonico was fantastic. The property is located in a great area with stunning views of Lake Como. Fabio the host was amazing and the breakfasts were great next to the Lake with perfect background music setting the tone.
The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and accommodating, we got an appartment 300m from the hotel, but it had a balcony with lake view, so nothing to complain about.
