The location of this hotel is stunning, sitting right on the water's edge at Lake Iseo, a beautiful narrow lake surrounded by impressive mountains. The very best part of the hotel is the wonderful chef at the new Ize Restaurant where we dined superbly on a terrace literally overhanging the water, with stunning views. The exquisite vegetarian menu was without doubt the best we had on our subsequent three week trip to a range of very nice hotels and restaurants.

Top location. You could hardly hear anything from the street inside. Beautiful, very well-kept garden. The room was nicely furnished and always clean. The breakfast was prepared with love, but could have been a bit more varied. We received a very friendly welcome and were always treated with attention and cheerfulness.

We were satisfied with the breakfast, room although small but was sufficient, coffee machine, kettle, TV, hairdryer. The location was fantastic, a very quite area and only 10 min walk to reach Lake ISEO.

We spent two wonderful days, went through the lake with a car, took a boat from Salzano to Monte Isola, then we stopped at several villages by the lake. Evening at ISEO center was fantastic. Eat at Leon D'Oro highly recommended restaurant, food was very good, deserts were to die for. In fact we went there on both evenings. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good value for money.

Pleasant lakeside town from which ferries go to lovely Monte Isola and other villages on the lake. Parking is tricky and we couldn't find anywhere to leave the car for the day to take a ferry to Lovere in the north of the lake. Ferries are very reasonable.
Friday market is mostly clothes but some fresh local produce too. Tourist info was shut (mid September) as were some restaurants and shops.
The national nature reserve Sebino is a tranquil and beautiful wetland with boardwalks and hydes .We enjoyed walking part of the Via Valeriana trail out of Zone and a trip to see the Piramidi di Zone, extraordinary morainic pillars left after the last ice age.

Stunning views. I've never seen a more beautiful place! Even on the odd rainy day there's still things to see and do and the scenery is beautiful. 10/10 recommend. Also less touristy than the larger lakes so even more relaxing!
The trains are super cheap and easy to use, we travelled to and from Iseo, Pilzone and Sulzano before catching a ferry to Monte Isola for a wedding. On the return we caught a train to venice which was roughly 40 euros each! Amazing value and very simple to understand.

Iseo is beautiful and not as crowded as the other lakes.
Iseo is beautiful and not as crowded as the other lakes. The island is a must to visit and there are regular ferries.
What was outstanding was how helpful and friendly all the locals were, the amazing vistas and wild swimming in the lake.

Iseo is a beautiful town on Lake Iseo with plenty of restaurants, ice cream parlours, gift shops, harbour for boat trips and tourist information office. Family orientated and mostly Italian tourists. Train station, market and two large supermarkets make it easy to self-cater and get around.

Beautiful city with breathtaking views. Full of life, but not too chaotic. Great for people who like to spend their time hiking or biking, but also for not-too-sporty people who want to take a stroll along the lakeside.

We stayed in a luxury tent for four nights. It was perfect for this time of year and our trip to explore Lake d'Iseo. The staff was very welcoming, and communication was very good even two days before we made the tent upgrade without any problems. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay pleasant!

What not to like? Beautiful location on mountain overlooking Lake Iseo, all staff very friendly and professional, room was very clean with airco and nice balcony. The food was amazing, both dinner as well as breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back.
