Having previously travelled to Sardinia to almost every location apart from the far south-west, this was a a peaceful haven for three nights at the start of our two week holiday. A very quiet and rural spot away from the crowds. A beautiful setting and very attractive property and lovely pool (and very well manicured grass!). The central grass courtyard is a lovely setting. We were very envious of the rosemary hedge! A delightful addition to a G+T! :-D Our room was simple, spacious and comfortable with a great view over the pool towards to mountains. Air conditioning very effective and quiet. Extremely welcoming and supremely friendly owner and staff (Thank you Sergio, Valeria, Thomaso!). We enjoyed the surprise of not knowing what was for dinner every day. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds, seeing the animals (donkeys, cows, horses) and views across the mountains. We were also fortunate that Thomaso has excellent English to counter our inadequate Italian, but we really enjoyed trying out our basic Italian with Sergio! :-D We promise to learn more Italian for next time!
Overlooking the surrounding mountains and valleys, Oasi del Cervo is set in a rural area 15 km outside Arbus. This country house has a small farm with animals and produces its own cheese.

Fell in love with L'Oasi del Cervo and its stunning setting in the middle of wild nature, where one is surrounded by green mountains yet is close to the sea, which is visible from the building. Very kind and attentive owners, Giuseppe and Angela, providing peaceful accommodation and food of great quality. If you like nature, peace, remoteness, stargazing, and being away from it all, whilst being only half an hour or so away from the sea and the dunes of Piscinas, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

The place is very quiet and nice and the familyroom is perfect. The local food is very tasty and the familymembers are very friendly. In the garden are many flowers, turtles, dogs and cats. We enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great, you cannot do better. Familiar, lovely, very clean, relaxed place and nice people. The room was big enough, well equipped, lovely big bed and a balcony covered by a tree, very clean bathroom, everything there. Breakfast was more than excellent, wide range of fruits, home-made cakes, best italian coffee and sardic cheese. Every extra wish was covered, from eggs to cucumbers. In the evening they offer typical fresh cooked meals, very tasty, healthy, regional products, lovely wine aside. The nights were cool and therefore comfortable. Fluminimaggiore is a nice, traditional village with a museum, supermarkets, cafes and lovely people. The long sandy beach is about 10 minutes away, restaurants and showers available. Most interesting is the mining history with guided tours...
The location speaks for itself! Just beautiful! Combined with this recently opened, beautifully renovated / furnished hotel makes it the perfect place to relax!
