Very good location on top of a hill with a nice view on the surrounding mountains. The host Gilberto was extremely nice. We stayed here two nice and Gilberto and his wife prepared twice a dinner for just the two of us. This was a fantastic experience with a lot (and I mean a lot!) of very good food.

Gualdo Tadino is a truly beautiful town with very carefully restored old buildings (some of the churches date back to the 13th century) with numerous religious mural paintings. It is located at the foothills of mountains that most likely have nice hiking trails, and is surrounded by undulating gently sloped low hills with crop fields. It is very clean, lively, and people are generally friendly and helpful to tourists. There are several good quality restaurants but also pubs in the town. Highly recommended.

Incredibly welcoming and untouched by over tourism. The people and community spirit far outweighs anywhere else that I have visited. This is one part of the world that I love and will return.
This is my third time visiting for Gioche de la Porte, a breath taking experience and display of the towns history.
Very nice and convenient appartment, clean, quiet and cosy, well equipped with everything one needs. Very friendly welcome by the host family! Gualdo Tadino is a small and friendly city with shops and nice restaurants. It is an excellent base camp for hiking tours and other excursions. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every second of our stay. Grazie e ciao a Mamma Do !
