Everything! This is a great little hotel and the staff couldn’t do enough for us: so kind and helpful. It was my partner’s first visit to Italy, and this was a great start: lovely, clean, comfortable room and a superb breakfast.
The elegant and charming Locanda dello Spuntino is in Grottaferrata's centre. Its rooms feature antique terracotta floor tiles, wooden furniture and marble bathrooms.

Beautiful building, very large and ornate. With nice staff.
Great location for staying near the airport and also explore the towns nearby.

Beautifully furnished and decorated, feels more like a warm home. Everything you need is here, we even got yummy buns and jams for breakfast. Fast Wi-Fi, smart TV and AC on both floors. So much better than some old, dirty and expensive apartment in Rome downtown. Alessia is kind and at disposal, she replies very quickly. We had to check out very early to catch a flight, and that was not a problem. Grottaferrata is a lovely place, a bit challenging for walking due to traffic and narrow sidewalks, but that's pretty much like the whole Croatian coast. To visit Rome center I recommend driving to Anagnina metro station (15min ride, outside parking is 2,5€ for a day), and take subway to Rome for just 1,5€ (30min ride).
Located in Grottaferrata, 10 km from Università Tor Vergata and 10 km from Anagnina Metro Station, poppy loft provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi.

Spacious for 4 people and the rooftop terrace was great
Very friendly host. Clean room and bathroom. Quiet neighborhood. Good food and grocery stores at walking distance. Close to Castel Gandolfo lake and sightseeing. Great place to stay if coming by car. Parking inside the premises. On the down side, WiFi was not very reliable.

We need a car.
We need a car. The towns, sites and restaurants were excellent. We loved staying at the Tenuta Cusamano. We enjoyed touring the nature/archaelogical site of Tuscolum over the weekend when the ruins are open to the public. we did not see another American in 5 days.

Grottaferrata is a very small town.
Grottaferrata is a very small town. I was there for work but I had time to walk around and see a bit. There is the Monastery of Santa Maria that dates back to 1024 with a beautiful church inside that is worth a visit. There is a museum but it was closed when I visited. I thought I would have a harder time finding parking but it wasn't too bad.
For a great meal try La Casina del Buon Gusto. The chef's specialty was buonissimo and the prices are excellent. Avoid the Ristorante da Leo. Overpriced and not very good.
There is a Fresco Market grocery store within walking distance of the downtown area which has just about everything, including American Hershey's for some reason!

The hotel Graziola is old and beautiful both inside and out, the ceiling frescos are amazing. Very relaxing stay here in the apartments not the hotel itself. Staff are very helpful and breakfast is extensive and good quality.

The proximity to Frascati and it's train station made our visits to Frascati and to Rome very simple. A casual drive around the vicinity of Grottaferrata can include the many towns of Castelli Romani with all their diversity and drama.
Hotel Verdeborgo was ideally situated for us to retire after meetings in Pineto during the day and wanting to relax asap. We were very well received and shown to our room, a very comfortable night was had in our en-suite room, with a huge balcony overlooking the countryside around. We enjoyed our plentiful, tasty and typically Italian breakfast before heading off, unfortunately with the room keys still in my pocket which I then posted back, so profuse apologies.
Maurizio was an outstanding host there is nothing that's to much trouble and is full of the best places to visit and enjoy and will even give you all the information printed specifically for your trip. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning the grounds are beautiful and the view is something else. I will definitely be staying again in the future. Thank you for making our trip that bit more special.
We recommend this hotel. Polite staff. Hotel receptionist very clearly explained to us how to get to the city center, what transport to use, how to get back. This helped us a lot.
