It's a very peaceful place, less touristic than Taormina. But easy daytrips to Taormina, Catania, Acitrezzo, Acireale, Savoca, Forza d'Agro. Plenty of restaurants, shops, nice beaches to cater for all. Laso easy for trips up Mount Etna.

Beautiful beaches, lots of space (in October anyway!), it's close to Taormina, but feels like a haven away from the busy streets which were packed with tourists. We enjoyed a morning swim and sun-down on the beach every day, and we had eaten in amazing restaurants, all of them, from the cheapest family-run to the more commercial ventures, the food was absolutely superb and everyone was really friendly.

Giardini Naxos is truly beautiful, with stunning clear water beaches and a variety of restaurants and bars to choose from. The relaxing atmosphere, friendly people, and proximity to Taormina make it a perfect place to stay. It’s simply stunning, and we look forward to returning.

It is a vibrant place with many options to eat at. There were ample opportunities for various excursions or just solo. It is near Taormina, Castello Mola and even Mount Etna is only 50 minutes drive away.

There’s not much to it really, I only stayed there because I thought it would be a cheaper option than staying in Taormina but I’m not so sure about it. I would recommend staying in Taormina if that’s what you actually went to this area to do. But in general, this area (Taormina and Giardini Naxos) is super expensive and touristic, just visit quickly. Also, parking is €15/day.

The place is nice, is a good option to mix Taormina with another place. The only bad thing are the buses, they do not pass at the time that you are expecting, sometimes it takes more time, so if you are having a flash trip, this can be an issue.

Our hotel was much better than we expected. The beach part is very beautiful. The cafe is pleasant. Our breakfast was quite rich and nice compared to Italy. The rooms are clean and renovated but the bathrooms also need an overhaul. It's a bit old. In general, the hotel is a nice place from the 1980s but has been renovated. We loved the large Olympic pool and its surroundings. The subject is very easily accessible. There are also very delicious pizzerias nearby.
the property was very clean and well equipped. Emanuele, the host, is really helpful and super nice. I loved the fact that there is a coffee machine with a really good Italian coffee available in the room. the location is excellent because is on the beach front. I highly recommend this property because is also really well located if you want to visit Taormina, Catania, and all the maritime locations in the east coast of sicily.
Perfect quiet stay around meadows and trees. It was our last days in Sicily and we felt like in a fairytale for many reasons:
- host spoke perfect English, explained us everything about house, surroundings, how to reach places, what to visit plus we just could simply talk together
- big and comfortable apartment with terrace
- horses freely walking around you
The room (Iona) was big and airy. Large comfortable bed and plenty of towels. The view was exceptional. directly in front of the sea. easy access to restaurants, beach and great location for visiting the east side of Sicily. Our welcome with Christina was friendly and informative and the check out was on time and without stress.
Silvio's kindness and professionality. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable. The place is very near the beach, yet in a tranquil area. Breakfast was generous and tasty. Silvio went to the extra mile in offering us every morning delicious sicilian fresh cakes! A great weekend away in Sicily. Grazie Silvio!
