Everything. Friendly staff, great breakfast, wonderful pool and grounds, lovely bar and outdoor terrace area and in an ideal location. We stayed in a non-renovated room which was large with a modern bathroom. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend highly. It rates better than 3 star for us.
Bartabel is in the heart of Gargnano, close to the main square and right on the lake shore. A varied Italian breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking Mount Baldo and Lake Garda.

The location was perfect; right in the middle of Gargnano and on the lake. The room was very quiet considering we were right in the middle of everything. We had a room on the 3rd floor with terrace and we had an incredible view. Air conditioning was an added bonus and essential as the weather got very hot. The breakfast room was also on the lake with an amazing view. Breakfast was included and a perfect start to our days at Lake Garda. All the staff we met were incredibly helpful.

Absolutely everything! The location is beautiful and the views from the room are picturesque. The beds are so comfortable and with the balcony doors open you can hear the water. So relaxing. The restaurant serves incredible food and the staff are top notch. A special mention to Danny at the restaurant who was superb!

Everything about this Hotel was exceptional! Great location walking distance to Gargnano center, spacious room and bathroom, very clean, cozy and tidy. Excellent service, the most friendly and helpful staff ever creating very warm relaxing atmosphere, delicious food and generous breakfasts, stunning views to Garda Lake. Hotel has convenient pier with comfortable sunbeds, direct access to the lake, where you can also conveniently arrive by the boat and park. It was a great choice for my vacation, definitely recommend it! Fantastic location beside Lake Garda, close to a small village with plenty of restaurants and bars. .A small hotel where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony overlooking the lake. Good selection of breakfast options. We also ate dinner here which was delicious. Staff were all friendly and super efficient. Wonderful to wake up to a lake view each morning, the scenery here is spectacular. Room was a good size with plenty of storage and hanging space.

Small town surrounded by the mountains. It is perfect for bikers. Long rides including perfect uphills and mountains as well. The lake is just perfect for sailing, swimming, boating, windsurfing. Hiking is also a great possibility. Garda lake has a lot to offer. The water is colder on the norther side and warmer on the souther part.

We stayed in Lago di Garda for a week (one day at a hotel, the rest at a friend's villa), and perhaps this review is somewhat negative because we were just coming from a 2-week vacation in Croatia, but Lago di Garda is a bit over-rated.
Based on the unreliable local transportation system, one quickly gets the impression that people (middle-income or lower) without a car are not welcome.
The scenery of this huge lake surrounded by mountains is very impressive and beautiful, however we were very turned off by the fact that there are snakes in the lake! To be fair, on the very populated beaches, there were none to be seen but as soon as you find yourself a less-populated area, you would see snakes swimming around. What we also did not like is that access to the lake is often obstructed due to the way construction was allowed to take place.
From a budget perspective, the choice of restaurants is geared more towards the higher-end, which reflects the kind of people you see vacationing here. What I found annoying were the opening/closing times of shops and restaurants. Expect to have difficulty in finding a place to eat in case you want dinner before 7pm and watch out for automatic service charges.
Based on observation, most locals are rather old and most foreigners are either German tourists or Germans who have bought property here.
My impression was that this is the perfect location for people of a certain age wanting peace and quite in a sunny destination or couples wanting a secluded getaway.
My brief rating would be "beautiful but boring"

Its a place where you just walk around looking at the lovely structures of the houses, the little delicatessen , the small but very modern and classy clothes shops , stop for lunch by the small port and just take in the atmosphere. Tip though, always book a restaurant for dinner on Sundays.
The property was superb. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Bed was quite hard for me but a good size and pillows were good. Bathroom was modern and there was everything needed in shower etc. Air conditioning worked well. Pool was lovely and we used it a few times. Staff were really lovely and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food to suit everyone. We ate in hotel restaurant twice and really enjoyed the food. It was excellent value for money all round for what we paid.
We‘ve seen many incredible places on Lake Garda, but Villa Delle Palme tops them all: the location, the atmosphere, the fabulous service makes you really feel like you‘re in your private summer residence. Staying for 2 days will make you feel like being on vacation for a whole week… The Manager Max will read every wish from your eyes and is a perfect host. if you have the chance, book the Suite with a million dollar view on the lake and a private terrace. We‘ll be back!
The room is simple but clean. The location of the hotel is overwhelming, amazing view of Lake Garda.
A very good starting point for visiting other cities like Limone sul Garda, Riva di Garda, Malcesine and Trento.
Although there is a road nearby, it is quiet.
The hotel have two jacuzzi and can be used free of charge even in the night.
We stayed in this hotel in August 2019 and we will be back soon again.
This is a wonderful apartment! Clean, modern and comfortable with a very nice equipped kitchen and washing machine. The air conditioning in August was a true blessing. Also the view of the lake is amazing. A very peaceful place although it is located right in Gargnano. Shops, restaurants and cafes are right there! A special thank you to our host Fabrizio who was also very helpful. Will be back!
