The view from the resort over Lake Garda is fantastic. We watched the sunset one night from the spa & our room also was up the hill and had a fantastic view of the lake. The spa was also great quality for such a low cost.

This is a very nice hotel, probably built in the 80s, away from the tourist crowds but within walking distance to Garda. The staff are extremely nice and the breakfast is excellent.

Everything was very pleasant and comfortable especially as we had been touring by train and ready for a rest. The weather wasn't as good as hoped for but we had one wet day where we spent a happy of hours in the spa. The Breakfast buffet was nicely presented but only ate in the restaurant once. Nice idea to have the salad and cheese and dessert separate. The proximity to the town was very convenient and it was quite beautiful.

Amazing location, right at the lake with 5 minutes walk to the bus station as well as the ferry terminal. The breakfast was great and the staff super friendly and helpful. The room was not very big but clean and had everything needed.

Garda is beautiful and there is an abundance of seafood restaurants and plenty of places to have a drink, it is very reasonably priced for both. But like all places you can make it as expensive as you want to as there is some fine dining to try. If you fance a change there is a very good Thai restaurant i would recomend that. Yes, I would recomend Garda.

I recommend traveling around the entire lake and visit all places. In addition to the Garda, Salo, Malcesine, Riva del Garda and Pieve in the mountains on Limone deserve attention.
Hence, it is not far from Verona (the city of Julia and Romeo).

We had a wonderful week. Buses and boats are easily accessed if you want to visit other towns around the lake.
Lovely choice of restaurants and shops with helpful and friendly staff.
Beautiful scenery.
No noisy pubs.
We ate at "Il Portico" restaurant as they could provide gluten free pasta & pizza.

Loved everything.
Loved everything. There's no need to drive as travelling around by bus and boat is so easy. There's plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling,swimming and water activities. Plenty of very good local wines to enjoy and food is exceptional. Everyone's ideal holiday is different. We stayed in Garda as it has the "village" feel. It is quaint, with narrow pedestrianised streets and arches. There are many lakeside restaurants all serving excellent cuisine, it is difficult to choose a favourite so here's some Giardinetto, Osteria Porto, Al Graspo, Al Pescatore.

Plenty of other areas to visit all within easy access. Cheap, reliable, frequent buses and river boats to get you around the lake.
Lovely food and nice friendly restaurants - most had exactly the same on their menu so a bit of variety might be nice if you stay longer - it was fine for 5 days.
Affordable and loved the many boutique shops and the ice cream parlours.
At Hotel Villa Anthea I stayed for a week
It was a great choice I made as I had a very pleasant stay at this cosy hotel where everything is perfect - GREAT is the word that ticks for every box - for cleanliness and service provided - the room, the free WiFi, the pool area, the breakfast and the bar room, the veranda, the location and ALL the friendly staff
I highly recommended HVA and will come again if/when traveling to Lake Garda
Loved the location. On the lake side, a few minutes to bus terminus. We caught a bus direct from the airport to garda, then a few minutes walk to the hotel; excellent. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Breakfast was nice, lovely orange juice. Loved the patio balcony to sit on in the evenings overlooking the square where opera singers were performing on the Saturday we arrived; what a great start to our break.
Fabulous Room with the most amazing roof terrace, the room was comfortable and located in the most spectacular spot! Views from room of lake Garda where exceptional. Couldn't fault it one bit. Breakfast was delicious also 😋
Wonderful welcome, lovely room with view of pool, garden and lake. excellent food and service. Bonus of being able to park car in hotel garage for a cost of 15 euros a day. Ideally positioned for Garda and ferry service.
