Me, my husband and two kids had a lovely stay at Domo Incantos. The main entrance is close to main road of Galtelli, but as soon as you close the front door, you don't hear any sounds. The place is decorated nicely, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is nice.

This is a beautifully maintained/renovated property in the heart of Orosei. Easy walking access to local shops, sights and restaurants. Rooms are pleasant and comfortable with clean bathrooms and comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was excellent and staff are only too happy to help.
The family-run Hotel S'Ortale con Parcheggio interno e Ristorante all'aperto is set between the historic centre of Orosei and the beaches of the Orosei Gulf. Free private parking is available on site....

Keep in mind that out of season there is very limited offer for dining out as the town is very deserted. Travelling Sardinia out of season is difficult in the way that no opening hours on google apply. You need to be quite patient and inventive with food. Nevertheless, Galtelli is just what we've needed - peace and quiet in the spring sun.
100% recommending to walk (a little too long on paved street) or drive (and park halfway) up the hill above Galtelli directly from town - there is an amazing view and nice vegetation.
A restaurant called 'Sa Cantina' was basically the only option open to eat in town in March, but food was amazing. Best eat of the trip, definately recommend!
Galtelli is a great location to explore east Sardinia from.

A quiet village.
A quiet village. We found two very accommodating restaurants both with excellent food. If you are driving streets are very narrow. Good as a base. Be aware not a lot of English spoken so prepare yourself with some Italian

Perfect Location in the mittle of Galtellì. Best resto of town "tanca e gaia" (reservation is recommended) with 11 plates is 5 min walking away (no driving because of Vino). Breakfast at the terasse with a nice view. Perfect for our second night.
Great and friendly hosts, nicely situated in historic centre of Galtelli. Lots of privacy and private parking (make sure to enter straight to not scratch the underside of your car :-) )
Large and lovely apartment, super clean, lovely family who owns it who wishes you welcome :) Very good aircon, and you can walk to everything you need in Galtelli.
