Frederica and Giorgio were marvellous hosts. Frederica met us with her motor scooter at the gate of Duino Castle to show us the way to Porto del Bivio. After we had arrived and settled in, she gave us a refreshing aperitif to enjoy in the shady garden. She suggested an excellent trattoria for our evening meal. Our room was large, spotlessly clean, air conditioned, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and Giorgio made us scrumptious scrambled eggs. Highly recommend Porto del Biblio.
It is a very nice villa, in the outskirts of Duino (nothing is far away). 5-6 min walk to the piazza.

Although breakfast is the usual continental style it was individually prepared and served outside - lovely. Convenient location for walks and right by a bus stop to airport, Trieste, Udine and beyond.
