The view through the small windows. The windows in the photo do NOT match the windows in the actual room. They are much smaller in the actual room. The bathroom was newly renovated.

The hotel had plenty of secure parking for our groups motorcycles. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was well equipped and clean with a nice balcony. The restaurant at the front of the hotel was superb with a great menu and very tasty and well priced food.

Thanks a lot for the stay.
We were the only guests in the house but we got the whole full breakfast, and it was fantastic.
The place is perfect to do some hiking or biking trips.
And in only some minutes walk you in the centrum with good restaurants and supermarkets.
So, it was perfect.

Fantastic apartment, everything you could need. Great enclosed garden for our dog, very close to shared pool. Very large garage. About 5 minutes walk to lake down very easy slope and about 10 minutes to shops/restaurants.
Nice town, beautiful surroundings and friendly people.
Nice town, beautiful surroundings and friendly people. It is touristic but not crowded. There are some good restaurants and ice cream shops. We loved Ajó, La Ronde and Bar Gelatería Freedom. There is a street market every Thursday afternoon. We went by bus from Colico but return by ferry to Bellano. Highly recommended to go by ferry!

Really nice little town, there weren't that many people as there were for example in Bellagio - perfect town to stay if You would like to enjoy peace. Boats to other towns didn't go that often, but if You plan a bit ahead then everything was doable in a sensible manner.
Shops were closed for us bit early around 7-9PM( used that in Estonia they will close around 10-11 PM ) , so plan Your groceries shopping ahead :)

The location is great, and since it is far from Como, it's much cheaper. For example, you can rent a boat (5 persons, 40 HP motor) from 220 EUR per day (inflatable) or 270 EUR per day (hard plastic boat). In Como, I was asked between 400 to 500 EUR per day for the same boat. Everything is cheaper at Domaso, and there is more space, less noise, more relaxed ambience than at the South part of the lake Como.

The C10 bus helped us get about the area.
The C10 bus helped us get about the area. We also got the ferry at Menaggio over to Bellagio and Verenna. It was all very quick to get across and fairly cheap for public transport.
You could walk along the lakeside or through the towns, both were an enjoyable experience.
Make sure to have comfy footwear.
We walked 60km in 3 days!

A nice place to make the summer a bit longer.
A nice place to make the summer a bit longer. In September the lake was still warm enough for long swims. Swimming-shoes are recommended, however, as the entrance to the lake is stony. And it gets deep quite fast - so I wouldn't recommend it for small children.

We stayed in this hotel as a family for 2 nights and we are delighted with this place. Everything is absolutely at the highest level. and staff and cleanliness. We also arrived very late and got to the hotel only at 2 am, the staff understood our situation and checked us in. I think many hotels need to strive for this level. There is also a very positive and friendly, calm atmosphere here. a place where we will definitely return. the quality is many times higher than the price.
Firstly... the host!
Such a kind and host is rare to find, and we would like to take the opportunity to thank her using this platform.
The location is perfect! close to the boardwalk, and many restaurants, and to the ferry stop at Domaso, which is extremely convenient.
Plenty of dishes, and a big refrigerator.
I can’t praise this hotel enough. The rooms were modern fresh and in excellent condition. The pool area was always clean and beds available. The staff are probably the friendliest most helpful staff we have had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday
The hosts are super lovely and helpful! The breakfast was also very good. By foot, the town of domaso is easily reachable in a few minutes, as well as the lake.
