Absolutely stunning hotel in the heart of Tuscany, the staff was so charming and very nice. The entire surroundings is just breathtaking! The breakfast was exceptional, the food from the restaurant was delicious! They offer plenty of activities to do! The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, decorated with a lot of style, the attention to detail was very present.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a luxury yet comfortable and warm palace!

So historical, friendly and clean. Friendly locals and shopkeepers and the vibe for Halloween was incredible!! I loved the exhibitions and historical buildings. Lots of steps and inclines but what goes up must come down!!

Cortona has changed since we were there in 2014.
Cortona has changed since we were there in 2014. It was a nice quiet, hilltop Italian village. It's not as quiet as it was then. It has become a very touristy town. It has many shops and restaurants and is very busy. If this is what you are looking for, then this town is for you. The surrounding area is pleasant to visit.

A beautiful, quintessential Umbrian / Tuscan town with vistas at every turn, great dining and shopping and much history. Be prepared to do serious walking on steep hills (this is a mountain top village, after all).

There are lots of cultural traditions to see, and enjoy
Do some research before you go so that you can witness some of the activities. We saw, quite by chance the finals of the National Crossbow competition complete with a procession through the city of the band flag throwers and Archers all in full medieval dress, it was amazing.
Art is featured prominently as in all of Italy.
All the old cities are built on hills so there is a fair amount of walking on steep roads, to get the value of your visit.

Cortona is a beautiful city.
Cortona is a beautiful city. Full of wonderful old buildings and paintings by Fra Angelica and other masters. Lovely little vicoli to wander in and marvel at. Very hilly so you’ll keep fit! Lovely cafes and restaurants. Perfect!

Immaculate retreat located in beautiful Tuscan country side with easy access by car to Camucia and Cortona. Flavia and Roberto could not have been more kind and hospitable. Beautiful olive oil, wine and ancient grain pasta producers. Great catering for stay when requested. All amenities provided and superb, quiet pool area with maintained gardens and shade from mature trees. The best of many stays in Tuscan agriturismos to date, immersed in luxury and nature.
Perfect property, large enough for 3 families and very comfortable. It has every facility that you would need. The owners / staff are amazing, kind and genuinely want you to have the best experience . We also used their hotel in the country which was also perfect for nice relaxing days and simple lunch.
Hopefully one day we will go back
Most wonderful stay in all our Italy travels. I cried when I left because it was so magical.
I did not want to leave the gorgeous building so the cooked for us. Very modern and large restrooms. Each room was decorated in beautiful old world style but not old and worn.

You will love this place: it's in the heart of Cortona and you'll feel the magic of this place. Hotel staff is very kind and helpul; breakfast is good. Remember: you can't access to the city centre by car but hotel can allow you to load/unload your suitcases by a temporary pass.
Fantastic boutique hotel just outside of Cortona. It is a 15 minute walk in to town, but it’s worth it for the views, peace and quiet, and of course the pool! Silvia and the staff also couldn’t have been more accommodating or friendly. We will be back!
