It was everything we needed, was a nice cute place with a comfy bed and aircon. However it was just quite far away from the main road so you have to be fit to go up those stairs everyday!

This apartment is exceptionally beautiful and completely surpassed our expectations.
It's extremely cozy and clean, all the details for comfort were well thought and done with good taste.
Both the spacious living room and bedroom have access to the big balcony which offers you a terrific sight to the sea and coast. There's nothing better than enjoying a glass of wine with the sunset or a coffee with the sunrise.
The location is right on the coast between Positano and Amalfit, it gives you an intimate home feeling and makes you forget the touristic frenzy that you will experience on your way there.
I would suggest buying in advance wine or beer and food to cook in the beautiful kitchen and bar of the living room. There's a high quality fridge and freezer. Otherwise you need to prepare yourself for some walk and stairs to reach the first restaurants. The walk in our case was a pleasure, we went down the stairs right to the sea where we found some restaurants with deficits food and pleasant ambience.
Or you can remain at home and chill on the sofa with a huge 65' Samsung TV if you need to watch your series.
The host was super communicative and helpful.
The only minus is that I didn't spend more time in the apartment.

The apartment was very large, clean and had everything we needed (even a kitchen). The host was very kind. We also had access to a large harden. The view from the garden and the rooms was awesome.

The location was good. We used public transport as much as possible (visit Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento and Pompei); it was easily accessible in near the villa.

Straight in the center of town. Amalfi is an expensive place, and so is Hotel Fontana, even for a basic economy room. Room was acceptable for 1 night stay. Breakfast was good, ample choices.

Beautiful views of the bay, nice beaches, and warm waters...Nicely situated between the towns of Amalfi and Positano, so day trips are possible using either public transit or taxis -- buses are an experience but can be very crowded and, due to nature of the roads where there is little room to pass, distances between vehicles can be very close.
Restaurants are very good and we didn't have any negative experiences but some walking or a taxi can be required to reach them. All in all, we preferred to visit the larger towns rather than stay in them, and I felt that we got the best of both worlds.

The area is much quieter and if using public transport it's very cheap to get around, however busses aren't very reliable and may not stop if too full. The unico app was useful to ensure we always had tickets. The area is much quieter than other areas along the coast but if you would prefer a bit more bustle, amalfi has much more to do.

Conca dei Marini is a quiet Amalfi coast town without the hustle and bustle of more famous towns but it also doesn’t have that much to see. You would probably want a car to visit the famous Amalfi sites if you stayed in this town. If you want to walk the Amalfi coast via small towns, you can probably do that here.

As in general Amalfi coast imo is overrated.
As in general Amalfi coast imo is overrated. Yes, it is unique, yes, it is beautiful, but... It is way too crowded in high season and as there are many tourist all things (including food etc) has very high price but average quality. To get around you need to sit in big traffic jams and there are literally no place to park car, if you are not willing to pay 10 EUR/h for parking - and even then there are places where you just cant park your car. It is worth to visit once in a life, but that's it.

Beautiful Views of the Ocean!
Beautiful Views of the Ocean! But it is very high up so there are not a lot of places to eat around Conca. We eat at a wonderful local restaurant called Le Bontà del Capo. They have a car that can pick you up and take you directly to their restaurant. Great service and fantastic food!

Everything about this lovely hotel is just great. Location is incredible, 10 minutes drive to Amalfi port and 30 minutes drive to Positano. The view from rooms and restaurant is stunning, beautifully showing Amalfi coast. The small private beach makes all the difference, it’s very clean with deep blue color of the sea, and we could order coffee and lunch to be brought to us there. Restaurant in the hotel is phenomenal, we had one of the nicest meals there, and the owner greets and checks up on guests personally. Will come back for sure.
Villa Carmela is situated in a very beautiful spot in Conca dei Marini; just facing the sea, with large airy terrasses. The appartment was clean, pretty and calm, good privacy also. Pool area is nice, 'in the nature'. We were kindly received and very flexibly since we needed to change our arrival time. We got a lot of help from the host with breakfast, advice and even bus tickets, also with the transport as our flights changed to a nightly one so it was really appreciated by us.
The property was so stunning, had amazing views and a great area which was super clean. the location was also great - right near a beautiful beach with great restaurants and ways to get to different destinations!
Everything. If I come back to Amalfi, this will be the hotel I choose. The view, the facilities, the room , the staff, the breakfast.....amazing. The welcome cake and every detail made those days perfect.
