Its a really nice small village, where you can experience the Italian lifestyle :) good gelaterias and pizza places are available, but I think its only a 1-2 day stay. We travelled to Udine, Tolmezzo, Triest, Lignano from here: for that, Codroipo is in the perfect spot!
For a simple low cost hotel it had all the things that more expensive hotels often lack - good bathroom lighting, good mattresses, secure free parking, free WiFi, good breakfast buffet, helpful staff.
We stopped overnight on our way to Florence. The hotel was very convenient for our travel plan, clean and attractive. We were very happy with it. The staff was very pleasant.
