Everything was perfect! An incredibly charming and cozy place. Although the host didn’t speak English, we managed to communicate just fine using Google Translate. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. An exceptional and memorable experience. The design of the trullos was adorable, the beautiful garden, the refreshing pool, the cute cats, the delicious breakfast and the admirable hospitality - a perfect getaway.

The apartment was really clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved that a generous supply of water, sparkling and still, as well as coffee and some snacks were provided. Very much appreciated after a long day on the bike. The host was also extremely accommodating of or need to store three bicycles nearby too – thank you again. Location wise, it was top class for us; a small deli 15 metres from the door supplied some San Daniele ham and a few beers, then a wine bar with a really good selection as well as ambiance just across the road. And of course the old town for wandering around and people watching.

This is an authentic quaint and unexpectedly roomy trulli with all modern comforts including a dishwasher, washing machine, large bathroom and well equipped (small) kitchen and comfortable bed. The owner has retained some of the original decorative features of a trulli with dark wood furniture and old pictures of life gone by.
A small patio area where you can relax and eat.
There is easy parking in front of the property.
Although the house is very close to the larger more modern dwelling our privacy was maintained.
A rural location with no traffic noise

The room was big, clean and comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The property itself is really nice, surrounded by olive trees and has lovely views of the coast and countryside. The staff were really nice and the breakfast was very good, great coffee. The pool and breakfast area are lovely. Pierluigi was a great host and Angelo is amazing, they both had lots of local recommendations for exploring and meals.

We stayed just outside Cisternino and visited for an afternoon. Beautiful town, very clean with all the essentials. Lovely to wonder around as there were far less tourists then in nearby Ostuni.
Would definitely recommending visiting if in region.

Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people.
Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people. My Italian is bad but I never had any problems being understood and everyone was very helpful. Go to a place once and they will remember you and your preferences. The food is delicious and plentiful.
The town is clean and safe. One of the really nice things is you can go to the edge of town and farms and vineyards are a short walk. Have a drink or coffee in one of the cafes near the edge of town and enjoy the view.

Cisternino quite rightly is one of the most beautiful town of Italy. We so enjoyed meandering the warrens of beautiful cobbled streets surrounded by immaculate white buildings adorned with an assortment of vividly coloured flowers. The people were so friendly and food and general vibe was fantastic. A truly lovely place to stay and explore Puglia! Less touristy and packed than the neighbouring towns. We will be recommending to everyone we know .

The town is lovely.
The town is lovely. Try to visit the weekly local farmers market (fruit, veg, olives, nuts, plants, cheese and more). There is one Monday mornings. Ask a local to direct you.
There is a great bakery in town called Al Vecchio Forno on the Piazza Mazzini. This is a nice area to walk around at night and it's full of restaurants. A Pté nearby is a cute grocery to get cheese, meat etc. Please buy stuff here and support the local farmers. 😀👍
The town is very scenic, so visit anytime of day for good photo ops and views.
For a good cup of coffee and the best pastries, go to a very popular spot called Almond just outside of town. It's not too difficult to find street parking here, and it has a nice outdoor seating area. Don't miss the creme filled Pasticciotto and Tette Delle Monache. Top!
There's so much more to tell about Cisternino, but it's up to you to discover it yourselves 👍 Best to visit spring and autumn!

Modern designed house with beautiful garden and garden furniture. Safe neighbourhood with a place to park a car (fenced area). Greatly equiped kitchen with utensils and basic food products (tea, coffee, flour, olive oil etc.) Big comfortable bedrooms with soft beds. Spacy living room with big dinning table. The owner, Annamaria, welcomed us with traditional puglian products and was always ready to help what to see and where to eat.
Our time at Borgo Canonica was very special. The property was very pretty and we felt hidden away for a few days but close to nearby towns - Cisternino and Ostuni. The restaurant served up some delicious food. Our room in the traditional trullo was a unique and cozy touch. The whole experience was fantastic, and we're definitely considering coming back in the future.
Very comfortable and secluded trulli house surrounded by olive groves and fields. Very good location for seeing the Valle d'Itria. 30 minutes to Alberobello and Ostuni ; 10-15 minutes to Locorotondo, Cisternino and Martina Franca. Also 20-30 minutes to the beaches om the north coast of Puglia which we very much enjoyed.
Everything! The place is beautiful, great landscapes and views from the masseria, quiet during the night to have a perfect rest and well located so you can reach most of iconic places in Puglia with 30 min drive. Enza and her family has been more than friendly and helped us during our stay.
Amazing villa in the heart of Puglia with all kind of comforts, convinient location for reaching main cities around. Kind host and housekeepers. Also wide spaces and rooms.
