We were upgraded(not easily) to a large suite with a beautiful view to the river. The room was large, and the bathroom very nice. Breakfast was different and great. Marco was very nice. It was very close to Bard fortress. The Spa was great

We had walked a long way from Châtillon on the via Francigena, and seeing the hotel on the outskirts of town was a delight! From the moment we entered the reception area and Deborah greeted us, we had a wonderful stay. Deborah was the best hostess we have encountered in all our travels. Her bright smile and positive personality made us feel right at home. She was so helpful and nice and extremely good at her job. We thank her for her service!
The breakfast was excellent as other reviewers have noted, the pilgrim dinner was good and plentiful, and the room was quiet, peaceful and very comfortable. We recommend that pilgrims stay at this lovely hotel.

Everything was wonderful! From Marco who is a pro at hospitality (super gentil!) to an impeccable room (clean, well decorated, spacious), and a calm bit stunning location and view. After 2 weeks in Switzerland and Italy this was for us the best place we stayed at. Excellent value, too. And don’t miss the breakfast with many home-prepped items. My wife and I recommend this place wholeheartedly, no hesitation.
Grazie mille, Marco!

The owner was very kind, and I could get something to eat before the restaurant closed. The room is nice and a good bed. I did like the spacious rain shower.

Champorcher valley is unspoiled and beautiful with plenty to enjoy, from proper alpine hikes , which I couldn't due for the weather , to easy and always accessible wandering paths . This is an important aspect - the expert people here can enjoy 1000m hikes to the many peaks and mountain huts, while the not-so-fit can breathe in and walk for hours in a natural environment which is devoid of dangers and great for kids. The food and cheese is amazing , ie Mellier restaurant in the Mellier neighborhood offers great traditional options , for more modern tastes there are bistros with trendy food types, always delicious.

Champorcher is a secluded stone village in a beautiful valley high in the mountains. There are amazing walks in the nature, good restaurants and a great little supermarket with everything you will need (ie wine, cheese, etc!!) Really peaceful - we had a wonderful stay.
