Honestly expected worse given some of the reviews, but the hotel is rather decent. It definitely needs some renovation, but the rooms were spacious, the breakfast was good and the location is great. As for the staff, it depends: some are fantastic, others are just so unfriendly they should not be working in the tourism industry. A bit expensive, but overall fine for a weekend at the beach in high season

I can’t say enough good things about Il Capriolo. A quant charming little B and B with an amazing view and exceptional host, Pedro!
The room was simple and clean and we had everything we needed. It even had a streaming TV. Breakfast was wonderful. The property sits on the very top of big trees hill. We had no problem locating the property with our gps.
Walking to and from the beach is no problem if you have good walking shoes and like stairs.
Pedro the host is special and wants to make sure you’re comfortable and happy.

The accommodation, the host, and the breakfast were all amazingly good. The only downside was that googlemaps took us up a scary narrow mountain road (the back way) and got us lost. Also, the parking is up/down a hill from the accommodation, whidh is not a big deal if you are fit and younger (which we are not.) Luckily Eleanore helped us with our luggage. We would still stay there again in a hearbeat! The helpfulness of Eleanore, the view, and the breakfast are outstanding!!!!

Celle Ligure offers a lot to people looking for sunbathing, swimming in the sea and taking some time off. Even during the Italian summer break it is not overcrowded and noisy. The long sea passage is very good for walking, jogging or taking a break based on the time of the day and your preference. The sea is clean and very nice for swimming. Apart from couple days by the end of August the weather is overall stable, nice and hot.

The location and beaches are beatiful. Sand and magnificent view. The only problem you cannot get to the beaches as they all private and do not let anyone in who did not book an abonement 22 month ago. Altough there was plenty of free space, personnel at the gate did say it is full. And the same situation is with 3 other beaches. What was available is tiny free beach but there was a waiting que of 2 hours to get to the beach as they did not let people in be cause of the said COVID...
Owner of the place is very nice and hotel was very clean and cosy.
Very good breakfast.
Good location to come with car or motorcycle and Aaso good parking.
