I have to also mention the (unaffiliated) Mexican restaurant on the block. Great service and some of the best Mexican food ever.

The apartment was good equipped, there is everything you need for your stay, even steam iron.
It is right near the lake and not that far away from Lovere (15-20min walking). The street is very quiet.
The host is very friendly and caring. She offered me to check in already at 11:00.
We stayed two nights (should have taken 3) and were very satisfied with the apartment.

and-walking/ ". We made meals at our apartment at "Paradise lake". Castro in it self was quite smaal so everything was in walking distance and the more important things could be found right next to Castro in Lovere such as buss tickets and tourist center.

Castro is small place with a couple of bars/restaurants. The Vulcano restaurant food is fantastic. The restaurant had a busy family feel the weekend I visited. The drive to Castro along the bank of the lake is stunning, with the road fixed to the side of the cliffs hovering above the water. There are safe pavements, cycle paths, and parking is easily available at the very picturesque Lovere (2km to main square)
Location was perfect. Rooms were modern, stylish and big. Hotel was very smart. Staff were great. Hotel was close to perfect for our cycling group. All staff member were helpful and we even had a lift into town for restaurant on a Piaggio three wheeler. The guy took three trips to get us to the marina...Nice touch.
I would recommend the Vulcano 100% and I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Everything was perfect. Breathtaking views from the window, great personel and insane restaurant right under the hotel. Very tasty breakfasts included in price. Ideal place to feel the italian climate and life. I'm sure we will be back!
