The location is outside the city center but good for our need as we had a car and they offer free parking. The hotel was very clean and the room was large with a balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Case di Latomie is surrounded by green farmland, rich in citrus and olives and near the Greek archaeological site of Selinunte. The Sciacca-Agrigento exit of the SS115dir is 164 feet away.

Nice organic wine available at dinner. Tasty meals. Wonderful olive oil (which can be shipped back to US). Quality construction in rooms and grounds. Large, competent staff.
Lucked into entertainment provided to a tour group staying when we were there.
Close proximity to Selinunte, easy access off highway running from Segesta to Agrigento.
Highly recommended.

Everything was excellent! The proprietors made us feel like personal guests. Their property was beautiful and inviting. The breakfast they provided was a nice assortment, including some eggs fresh from their own chickens! We poached them in the well equipped kitchen and ate on some fresh brown bread they provided.

Featuring garden views, Baglio Eldama in Castelvetrano Selinunte offers accommodations, a terrace, and a bar. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.
The place itself is lovely. Rooms full of character. pool and gardens are top class. The only negative was the cool welcome we got from the guy (owner?) when we arrived and the complete lack of communication about evening meals or any refreshments available during the day. The venue is in a beautiful rural setting but as there’s no fridge in the room it would be useful to know whether any food or drink was available. This could have been a language barrier issue but easily remedied with an information sheet.
The menu was not that clear what was on offer and the staff didn’t really know what the English version was - our fault, not theirs. Don’t be put off about staying here - just be prepared to use google translate if you don’t speak the lingo.

The town was a surprise as we discovered the parish church with its frescoes and lovely interior but - more importantly - the church of St Dominic with its stunning and impressive sculptured interior. Definitely well-worth visiting. Only 15 minutes drive away is the archaeological park of Selinunte with its layers of history unfolding before ones eyes.

Castelvetrano is a good base for visiting the Greek site and temples at Selinunte, the quarries nearby, the beach below the site. It could be a good base for visiting further afield too, as the accomodation we had was so good and peaceful.

Agrigento and its Valley of the Temples gets a huge amount of travel attention, and it is quite an experience. However, Selinute is just as great AND--without the tourist hoards. I actually loved walking Selinute with its peaceful setting along the ocean. Anyone who is an archaeological site junkie, like me, is in for a 100% day. Your camera can click away without unknown bodies on your photos. DO NOT MISS SELINUTE! There is bus service to Castelvetrano from Agrigento. There is also a bus from Castelvetrano to the Selinute site. See BOTH places. You'll be glad! Transport was easy.

Our stay at Jess & Joe's was great! The owners made me feel very welcome. I got a lot of useful information and curiosities about local products. The food was delicious, made from fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. The location of the room is in a very good place close to the beach and the archaeological park in Selinunte. The room was charming, very clean and spacious. If you want to have a real Sicilian holiday go to Jess & Joe's. Highly recommended!
It was simply perfect. I am traveling a lot for work and have been to many nice hotels. However, never ever have we felt as "home" as here. Super calm, spacious, clean, perfectly equipped, the garden & view are stunning. It is exactly as they call it: a luxurious villa in a very traditional style. Photos are super accurate, the hosts are super friendly and responsive, recommend 10/10.
Great location near Selinunte on our road trip round western Sicily.
Lovely clean big room with comfortable beds and fabulous shower.
Very good restaurant with excellent value set menu and friendly staff.
Good choice for breakfast in lovely room behind reception.
Great location in Castelvetrano. The staff was very accommodating. The interior was a little aged, but that has it's charm as well. It's very clean otherwise. Parking in the area is easy. The bus for a tour to Selinunte stops around the corner.
A beautiful hotel in a palazzo, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, in the historic heart of Castelvetrano. The owner went out of their way to be helpful. Grazie!
