It was a beautiful place with a great view and a huge terrace for breakfast or an evening drink. The host was really friendly and offered a nice breakfast every morning. The rooms were really spacious and there was plenty of space for drying clothes, suitcases etc. It was our best stay in Sicily!

The roads in Sicily are not good at the best of times and...
The roads in Sicily are not good at the best of times and are currently overrun with tourists, so driving to any of the nearby walks was fairly off putting, though doable. The town itself is quite interesting and friendly with a variety of eating places with local specialities, as well as shops for buying fresh fruit, vegetables and cheese. We ate very well and enjoyed the mountain walks we did in the nearby parco del natura and especially the views, birds and wildflowers. Parking on the edge of town and then walking is far preferable to navigating the busy, narrow streets.

Had lunch at Pizzeria San Paolo a couple times. Very good. Had dinner at Vecchio Palmento twice. Very good. Being a photographer, I loved just walking around town and going inside the many churches. Explored the castle. Get up early and get ahead of the donkey's picking up trash in the historic area. I would definitely return to explore more. Host was excellent and very helpful. Map of town really helped.

We enjoyed walking around Castelbuono. The castle itself was interesting. We enjoyed learning about the manna that is harvested in this area. They gave us very tasty samples of manna products. The clock tower was interesting. The information in the Museo Naturalistico was all in Italian but we still enjoyed seeing many of the insects and wildlife displays. The streets are all very narrow and steep, and I was amazed and how well the local people could drive through them.

Beautiful medieval town with a majestic castle. The shops and restaurants around/within the main village square are great. Castelbuono is also a great base to explore nearby villages and hike the Madonie park.

Best stay on our road trip so far. Beautiful home with exceptional standard of decor and fittings. Best sleep so far and aircon was superb, cooled whole apartment which was great as it was 38° during our stay. Loved the beautifully finished towels and linen, made it feel very sicilian
Lovely sunny terrace in the morning, wine and nibbles on arrival and a very well stocked fridge for breakfasts. Totally perfect stay and would highly recommend if coming to this location.
A lovely relaxing break. Tranquill. The staff and restaurant staff were extremely welcoming. Good English as our Italian was very basic. Food in the restaurant was excellent and the sommelier was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had the winery tour which was really interesting. Overall great wine, great food, wonderful welcome and comfortable. Pool a massive bonus and a 15 minute drive to Castelbuono.
Our stay here was great! The apartment is in the heart of the town. It was really easy to find a free parking space in via Livolsi (as advised by the host), which is close to the apartment. We really loved Castelbuono, even for a short one-night stay. If you're staying here, I would definitely recommend having dinner in Hostaria Cycas, it was a highlight of our trip!

And friendly. The property was beautiful as described, homemade breakfast 5€ per person was fresh and delicious. Very close to the georgeous town Castelbuono, lots of amazing restaurants and shops.
We all enjoyed our stay at this family hotel, we had a very nice dinner with Sicilian specialties, it was really delicious !!
Everybody was so kind and professional, Breakfast was also nice with homemade cakes.
