The hosts were fantastic, great that food and drink is available at the accommodation throughout the day. The pool is the biggest plus, it’s absolutely beautiful. Very relaxing stay, secure parking, close to Otranto approx 15 minutes, supermarkets also close by. Very clean rooms, comfy beds and great air con. We will be back.

We stayed for 6 days. The property is newly renovated and is very comfortable and clean. Air conditioning in the bedrooms; nice patio area in the back; kitchen has everything one needs. The kettle was an additional bonus to make our tea👌!!

Masseria del Gigante was stunning in every way. The location is beautiful and quiet - in the middle of olive fields - yet only 15 minutes to the coast. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous and Chiara (the host) and Ada (who made breakfast and cleaned) were lovel and helpful. This house was even nicer than the pictures showed -- it was perfect for us. Each bedroom has its own bath (two of the bedrooms are in a separate structure about 8 feet from the main house). The pool was gorgeous and the grounds were so well kept. Seriously, it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. We hope to stay again in the future!

Very nice breakfast but had to pay extra for breakfast items such as an omelette or pancakes which for a 5 star hotel should have been included in the breakfast price. One other small comment was the lack of whole meal bread. However, a lovely relaxing, well decorated reception area, comfortable beds and pillows, secluded garden patio with 2 sun beds (but no towels supplied)
Amazing property, the pool is outstanding. our daughter loved the pool and the food was excellent. the rooms were really nice, well designed and lots of space. very calming. staff were all incredible, helped us everyday with beach clubs, restaurants (although the best food we ate in the area was at the hotel). The gym is ideal and next door to a perfect little kids playground.
Lu Focalire is s beautiful house located in the historic centre of Carpignano Salentino. It's stone floors, domed roof and stone terrace is charming. Though being close to the piazza, shops, bars and an. ATM, the house is nestled within the historical centre in a very quiet side street. I would recommend this house to anyone considering staying at Carpignano.
