really nice host, good location if you have a car as you ca visit multiple beaches nearby (up to 1hr). Rooms were basic but you have everything what you need. The room was cleaned everyday. I appreciate the bottle of water every day. You can park your car in front of the room. There is a big restaurant with good food

Piero's apartment is a very lovely place - two bedrooms, nice living room with a kitchen, and then there is a big tarrace with a table and separate sitting area and bbq (we didn't even realise this would be there!) and then TWO more sitting areas downstairs in a beautiful garden AND the pool with its own lounge area. For 2-4 people it is ideal. Hosts are available and very kind. We used it as a base for day trips and it was perfect for that.

This is straight 10 from me. We had amazing time with my son. Everything was perfect. The hosts are the nicest people in Italy, breakfest were super, parking a car just outside on the street, clean and nice rooms, a lot of free water, AC, bathroom, cats - we loved there and I wished we could stay longer.
I promised I will be back and I do want to be back there. If you looking for a place where you can relax and chillout there is no better option. And beautiful beaches are just few minutes away with a car. Perfect Sardinia experience.

Mariana and Roberto are great hosts. Apartment is new and well equipped. Mariana was at hand via WhatsApp and responded quickly to any questions we had about the area, namely beaches and restaurant recommendations. Supermarkets and other shopping stores were within walking distance and some local bars too.Parking in garage or right outside the apartment. Will definitely stay here again. Top marks to both.
It’s an old mining town (coal). Interesting place to visit due to history on how the town came about. But the town itself is so so…. Iglesias however is nice and younger crowd, plenty of restaurants and more lively. Iglesias is highly recommended to visit

Was great to find free parking at the railway station as an excellent service into Cagliari which avoided having to try and park in the city. Also direct service to and from the Cagliari Elmas Airport. Quiet town with amazing mining history and museum plus few good stores. Mining center is well worth a visit. Best to pre-book

Beautiful property just outside Carbonia with very pretty grounds. Lovely en suite room with patio set on balcony. Very accommodating for our early start on our first day, arranging a lovely early breakfast. Very convenient to visit Nebida, Masua and Porto Flavia as well as being able to view the Pan di Zucchero. There are also several Grotta to visit nearby, the Grotta di Su Mannua were reached by a lovely scenic drive and were very impressive.

One thing to mention is that Carbonia itself is a relatively young city and there's not much to see there. However, it can serve as a nice base of operations for tourists who want to travel around the south-west Sardinia.
Beautiful, peaceful garden and the most warm welcoming from Luciano. All the things you need, including a good breakfast. We walked around the whole village without problem. This little village has a lot to offer, we visited the local history department at the Museo di Carbone and recommend a visit there to anyone interested in the history of Carbonia! Also recommend a visit at Fornaio vecchio.
