Breakfast was excellent. Bed was comfortable and considering the heat in the area during the day, the room was comfortable at night with the louvered door open. Location was only a short drive to many restaurants, and being outside the village, very quiet at night.

Nice accommodation along Tarvisio's main street with shops and restaurants nearby. Beautiful view of mountains from the room balcony. Nice to have a hot water kettle with tea and coffee in the room. We arrived late so we didn't have a chance to meet our host, but she was very accommodating with our late check in and responded quickly to communication. One thing to note is that if you travel by train to Tarvisio, the train station (Tarvisio Boscaverde) is 3km away from the main town so to get to the hotel you need to take a public bus or taxi.
Located right next to the Monte Lussari ski elevators, Hotel Edelhof is 1640 feet from Tarvisio town center. It features free parking, a wellness center, and typically Alpine rooms.

Overall experience was mediocre. Some staff members really nice and attentive, one person especially cold and distant. Room was ok for one night, nothing special. View to a large balcony that looked like it had needed a renovation years ago.

It appears that the main business here is the restaurant. We ate there in the evening and it was fine. The hotel is clean and tidy with a few lovely touches and the room has modern windows to let in fresh air.

Breakfast was great, the terrace we had it on has an amazing view, and so has the room. The hotel is close to the road but sound proofing is great so not noisy at all.

There is a pizzeria right next door, they have amazing pizzas. Host was great, very friendly.
The design of the hotel is really nice (specially the bathrooms). It has plenty of parking space in front, and even though it is not in the town, there are two nice restaurants where you can eat. The breakfast is exceptional really (fully recommend).
