Slept in this room since next morning i had to arrive early morning to Agrigento, the service and installations where great! real good cost-benefit option. Breakfast is simple (as almost everywhere in Italy) but delicious and overall service from manager was great helping us on arrival and during breakfast.

We were welcomed after our long trip in very bad weather. Offered room immediately although check-in was supposed to be at 15.00 hrs. Owners offered coffee which we were so looking forward to since we were freezing and drenched. Their dog Noah welcomes you as soon as you enter the property. My husband was feeling sick and owner took us to a pharmacy to buy medicines and also accompanied us to a restaurant nearby (ristorante le fontanelle), food was great, pizza was delicious. Owner of restaurant was also very friendly, he drove us back to our B&B).

Absolutely worth a visit - found a great street market, lovely friendly cafes and the information centre directed us to a garden centre where of course we bought a lemon tree (actually two). If you want to listen to some seriously good music - visit the biggest of the four churches in the town centre and listen to the church choir practicing. I'm not keen on classical music - but listening to a choir of over 60 local people was inspiring! (that's on a tuesday)

We loved this town, because it’s not touristy & is a real Sicilian small city. Good restaurants, lots to do in the surrounding countryside & very nice accommodation. For those of us with time to explore & wander away from the beaten track, these towns are our reward!

There isn't much to see in Caltanissetta itself but it is a good base for travelling around the area. It isn't touristy so not as busy as place such as Enna and Piazza Armerina. The roads are generally very good (apart from in the towns) so travel is quick and easy.
The place you must not miss is Villa Romana del Casale.

Located near the historic Center of Caltanissetta, Qal'at b&b was an amazing place to start our trip! Andrea, the owner, is the greatest and makes you feel at home since day one. He accomodated to our super early check in and looked after our baggage for hours the checkout day. Oh! And he prepares one of the best capuchinos we have ever tasted! Thank You Andrea for everything! Hope we see You again soon!
It's at 10-15 minutes of the center, it has the best mountains views in Caltanissetta. If you like a calmly place to rest this is the best! The place has its owns almond and olive plantation so you if you go in the right season you practically have unlimited olive oil and almond. The owners are really kind, they accompanied us to the house and gift us their own wine to taste it and it was really good!
The house is just like piece of heaven - cute garden, good view in quiet surroundings, room and common areas are beautifully designed, clean and look like brand new or well maintained. There is everything you need in the room.
The location is good if you are crossing Sicily for a trip (for example between Valley of Temples and Catania and Etna).
