My husband and I stayed at Antichi Granai with our son and DIL for three nights. It was a great base for exploring Palermo, Zingaro Reserve, Trapani and Erice. Breakfasts and our one dinner there were superb. Our host was very accommodating and was nice enough to make us sandwiches for the one afternoon when we were late in leaving the agriturismo. The grounds are beautiful and serene with views in all directions.

Calatafimi is a small, peaceful town surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Very old, in general well maintained. The locals are friendly, there are some interesting historic and archaeological sites close by, and the beach is not too far away, but it's not overrun by tourists. There are some beautiful little churches to see and the ruins of a castle in town. Every meal we had was delicious!! I will definitely go back
The hotel was very clean and parking was possible on sight, free if charge. The staff was very helpful and they even suggested a very good restaurant to us in Castellammare del Golfo. The surroundings are very quiet and it’s a very peaceful stay. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding fields from the rooms. The breakfast room was very private as we had a room of our own and it was also equipped with a T.V.

Location of this hotel is wonderful. We recieved clear directions and had amzing views of the Greek temple whilst driving down the (gravely, dusty but easily drivable) road. Food was amazing, setting wonderful, huge bedroom and friendly dogs.
