Areadocks is an exceptional hotel. Their housekeeping services go above and beyond (they put my pile of dirty clothes into a laundry bag, hung up my coat) and are fantastic. They make my life much easier while I'm staying here. Breakfast is good and easy. There' better pastries in Brescia, but these are solidly top 10 in the city and are very yummy. The fruit salad is awesome. The beds are comfy, the showers exceptional, and the spa is heavenly. I hope to stay here again.

Affluent Brescia is an industrial hub whose Roman and medieval monuments are relatively undiscovered. Its strategic location in the foothills of the Alps and midway between Lake Garda and Lake Iseo was coveted by invaders, and during efforts to ward off the Austrians it earned the nickname of the Lioness of Italy.
Brescia’s oldest landmarks are the Capitolium, overlooking the former Forum, and the Roman theatre remains. Artefacts found on both sites are displayed in the city museum in St Julia’s Monastery alongside remains of 2 Roman houses with their original mosaics, murals and underfloor heating.
The Broletto was the medieval town hall and it shares a large, cobbled square with the round Old Cathedral (or Rotonda) which is partly below current street level. Between them is the New Cathedral, begun in the 17th century. Piazza della Loggia is dominated by the Loggia itself and at the opposite end is a porticoed walkway housing shops and cafes.
Overlooking this from a hill is Brescia Castle whose ramparts offer views towards the lush Franciacorta wine-growing region. To the east is Sant'Eufemia della Fonte Monastery, home of the Mille Miglia Museum commemorating the iconic motorsport race which started here.
Booking.com’s accommodation options include luxury hotels, cheap apartments by the train station and B&Bs near Brescia Airport.

It is a very clean city.
It is a very clean city. There seem to be loads of traffic lights for not a lot of traffic. Like most places, there are cycle lanes which impede pedestrians. And like most cities there are more pedestrians than cyclists.

Last time I was too short in Brescia.
Last time I was too short in Brescia. Now I came to see the UNESCO sites, which were too far from the centre then. Besides, I saw also the cemetery, some churches, and climbed to see the views from above.

Brescia is a magnificent city -- very walkable through the historic centre and UNESCO world heritage site, fabulous architecture -- from Roman ruins through medieval to Renaissance, 19th century and 20th century deco buildings. The main museum is outstanding, shopping areas under porticos are fabulous, and the centre is bustling with beautiful plazas and squares, and fabulous restaurants and bars. A unique experience is the elegant restaurant, Antico Beccaria.

everything- fantastic focus on the customer- they remembered us - customers being looked after and treated better than at home. despite being Uber cool which we loved, they were collectively the warmest hosts. best hotel experience we’ve had in many years and especially since fall in hospitality standards as the sector manages staffing following the COVID outbreaks. Superb hotel and a must visit if you come to Brescia or use as a base to tour northern Italy.
Davide left an assortment of teas, coffee pods, jams , yogurt, milk, water, chocolates and everyday condiments; most unexpected for apartments we have stayed in our numerous visits to Italy. It also had a very well equipped kitchen. An allround comfortable apartment.
Brescia itself is well worth a visit and has plenty to offer.
Having an excellent location, not so far away by walking / by public transportation meanings to the historical city center of Brescia , Ambasciatori Hotel offered to us, by its great staff, a very comfortable and nice room, a balanced and good breakfast and of course a free parking seat for our car!
Thank you Ambasciatori!
Sumptuous, one of our best visits in Italy. Valeria was the perfect host, very helpful and made us feel very welcome in her house. Great sleep in the large airy bedroom.
An excellent breakfast with everything we could have wished for.
Thanks very much for a wonderful stay Valeria.
Large bedroom and bathroom in a lovely house (with lift) in the heart of Brescia's old town. 2 minutes' walk from Piazza Vittoria, which has plenty of restaurants to choose from. Good communication with the host beforehand and nice welcome. The breakfast buffet is perfect.
