Ideal location for exploring Pompeii, Naples, and Sorrento. The apartment is fully equipped for long stays, including a dishwasher, and the hosts, Alfonso and his wife, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Excellent value for money—highly recommended.

The host was very responsive and friendly. The apartment is one big space as a duplex, with a bedroom upstairs (for us as a couple) and a bed downstairs (for our daughter). It looks quite modern and actually enjoyed the layout of the space. Bathroom is seperate and proper too. With regards to parking, we came by car and we parked our car inside the courtyard which is closed off by a gate, so it felt very safe.
Location is quite convenient, only 15 mins by car from the Pompei historical site.

The house is overall great. I liked the location because it's close to the train station that will take you into Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, etc, without the traffic or paying the high parking fees. It's also very safe and quiet. If you like nature and want to be around grass/greenery, you have to look elsewhere. Parking is private and safe behind a gate that locks automatically when you close it and it's a shared space, but I didn't have to fight for a parking spot because there was plenty. If you have young kids that like to walk outside, please hold their hands if you walk on the street because there is a slightly steady flow of traffic. Not too much, but enough to not have kids play freely in the street. Oh, the bed is extra firm and the sleeper sofa is slightly less firm, so if you like to sleep on soft mattresses, you'll have to bring some type of topper.
Again, if you want to go to Naples, Pompeii, etc, the train station is about a 5 min drive and the parking costs 0.60 per hour, free between 1-4. If you want to visit the Pompeii ruins with small kids who require a stroller, leave the stroller behind and get a carrier. Because it's an archeological site, it's not stroller/walker/wheelchair friendly.

It is a really great place to stay, we were 3 couples as a family. We have had a really great time. Elvira and her husband are amazing people, you will not really see such a nice hosts.
What we also like about the property is the garage, because we had 2 cars, we were able to fit.
In the Pompei the streets are small and if you have a sedan, it is really hard to find a spot and park. Luckily, the house has a parking place.
The house 15-20 minutes away from the Napoli but it has a quite better location advantage because you can also see the Pompei Ancient city because it is definitely worth!

Similarly as in Napoli centre - here also there are a lot of cars, people simply do not walk, traffic is a mess, there is a lot of trash and dirt, public transport is not so developed. A few people speak English. On the other hand, Pompeii and Herculaneum are worth seeing and that is why you should visit the town. Although many people claim that the coast is amazing (Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento), I would say that the eastern-south part of Italy is better.
If you are not from Italy, do not drive your own car there because you will shorten your own life for nothing.
