It was so special to be so close to Cinque Terre region by train and then to come back to the quiet comfort of Hotel Belvedere in the afternoon.
There are great opportunities to hire a bike for a few hours and ride to the neighbouring towns of Fremura and Levanto- with all straight road access- no hills involved!
The only downfall is the walk up and down the hill for the hotel and town commute- it can become quite tiresome after a long day of sightseeing - but overall a wonderful unforgettable stay

Small, charming village that offered authentic local cuisine, great beaches, and not too crowded (even for high season). All restaurants we tried offered tasty food. The best offer was the Tourist lunch menu at Perballe - 15 Euros and the choices were delicious and fresh.

Better than the pictures! A really beautiful, relaxing and quiet stay in the hills of Bonassola.
Lots of outside space to relax and enjoy the view.
Very well equipped with everything we could possibly need.
The parking permit for Bonassola was a real bonus and Cinzia and her husband were super friendly, lovely and helpful.

The friendly family run hotel made us feel so welcome, we were gifted a bottle of wine for our anniversary. The room was very comfortable, it had very quiet air conditioning and a fridge but no kettle. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. The homemade cakes were especially good. Bike hire at the hotel was easy and great value.
Location is great for exploring Cinque terre or relaxing at the lovely beach in Bonassola.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming and hotel room was very clean.
