The view from the breakfast room was amazing. Just perfect. Food was good but could of used more hot dishes, pastries and fruit... We could hangout our wet clothes or towels on the line outside the window. That was really nice. It was clean. Nice view out the window. Loved the walk up to the room even with all the steps. I loved the colorful decorating and inviting seating areas both in and out. The free bicycles and secure, parking garage were great too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious!

It was so special to be so close to Cinque Terre region by train and then to come back to the quiet comfort of Hotel Belvedere in the afternoon.
There are great opportunities to hire a bike for a few hours and ride to the neighbouring towns of Fremura and Levanto- with all straight road access- no hills involved!
The only downfall is the walk up and down the hill for the hotel and town commute- it can become quite tiresome after a long day of sightseeing - but overall a wonderful unforgettable stay

Small, charming village that offered authentic local cuisine, great beaches, and not too crowded (even for high season). All restaurants we tried offered tasty food. The best offer was the Tourist lunch menu at Perballe - 15 Euros and the choices were delicious and fresh.

Quiet little village, church bells rang a few times in the mornings, close to the cinqua terra and other parts of the coast
Had a beautfull meal at trattoria aranci, back sts, reccomended by 3old ladies from the village.
The view from the terrace was amazing! You had a panorama view over the whole bay of Bonassola. Bedrooms were comfortable. There are a total of 3 bedrooms in the house, 2 in the ground floor (where the terrace is), one in the basement. Shower was clean. Kitchen had all facilities you could ask for. Communication with the host was great, too. Perfect accommodation for one or two couples or a small family. We had a great time there.
We love Pensione Moderna: our family used to go there 30 years ago and not much has changed, in this family owned hotel. Not the friendly staff, not the cosy garden and good home made food.
The owner of the hotel is a very kind hearted man who welcomes you with open arms. The train station was a 3 minute walk and you arrive at Cinque Terre in about 20 minutes with the train.
Great location for exploring the Cinque Terra without being immersed in the crazy crowds constantly. The owner of the hotel was very kind and lovely. Breakfast was awesome.
