A wonderful family-run tenuta nestled among their own olive groves; therefore a peace-filled oasis, but within 12 minutes of the Bari airport.
Spotlessly clean rooms with a huge terrace with sunset views over the olive trees.
Giovanni, the son, who welcomed us both warmly and professionally, mentioned their restaurant in an adjacent building. Ate there both evenings, as Arduina, his mother,
is an accomplished chef who cooks local specialties (and loves to share her recipes!). She and husband Luca serve breakfast in the morning, with a pretty garden view.
The perfect location for visiting both Bari and Matera.

Nice location in tranquil neighborhood. The apartment was very well equipped with all necesitties. The garden is also fantastic. The owners are very hospitable, kind and helpful. I reccomend this property to all sort of travellers

Not as full of tourists as Lecce and other popular tourist destinations. Pleasant architecture, not quite as rococo as Lecce. More of a local feel. Prices were very reasonable, people were friendly although few could speak English and there were excellent food shops where excellent Mozzarella and Pecorino could be purchased

At a first sight it is nothing more than a city near airport...
At a first sight it is nothing more than a city near airport, where you sleep last night before your flight departs. But the you discover charming historic city centre with lively cafés and restaurants around the cathedral and suddenly you wish you could spend more time in Bitonto.
