Hotel Glamour is a 4-star superior hotel just outside Bassano del Grappa. It is 600 metres from Bassano Hospital and about 2 km from the historical centre.
Learned a lot about the significance of this town during WWI...
Learned a lot about the significance of this town during WWI and WWII. Got to tour the Poli distillery which was educational. The Nardini bar was fun and we ate amazing meals. Would love to return and use this as a hub for a bike ride in the nearby hills.

It is indeed a beautiful location, local foods, beautiful views. Not many things to do if one is looking for modern entertainment for kids, but we managed to vary our week between parks, gardens, town centre etc. One small hint - the kids (10 year old) enjoyed very much the Villaggio degli Gnomi (it is lovely). We also enjoyed very much a Ferrari show that happened in the town centre one of the days when we were there.

Bassano del Grappa is a hidden gem!
Bassano del Grappa is a hidden gem! There are many little shops with unique things to buy as well as great restaurants and bars. Many young people are living here so the town feels very vibrant. We loved the riverside! Bassano is easy to reach by train from Padua, Venice, Trient and Vicenza and has many cultural events to offer.

Lively, rich and interesting town! With its bridge, the rivers, a beautiful Xmas market and lovely traditional shops. The choice of restaurants and places to have a snacks is wide. It’s Museum and churches always offer the visitors a chance to discover Italian treasures. You can visit everything on foot and easily - Overall it’s worth the visit!

A historic center is easy to walk.
A historic center is easy to walk. The train station is clean and an easy short walk to the old walled section of town where people gather at sidewalk cafes. The historic bridge is a popular place for people to gather and visit and the views from there are exceptional. The town is prosperous and very clean. The people are friendly and helpful.

Location of the Hotel is very good. Close to Ponte Vecchio and the central plaza of Bassano Del Grappa. Were able to walk there on a daily basis and see the Poli Grappa museum, and all the restaurants and bars, and shops in the Plaza. Staff are very pleasant and helpful when asked about anything. Breakfast was in a large area with a good variety of food and excellent coffee machines for any type of coffee desired. Would highly recommend the hotel and we would definitely go back if or when we return to Bassano del Grappa.
Highly recommend Hotel Al Castello to visitors: the location is excelent just few steps to the city center and the red bridge. The room are well equiped and the beds are very comfortable.
Bathrooms have been newly renovated since last year and are top.
The staff is very helpful and kind.
Don´t forget to prebook your parking space with the hotel as it makes live much easier even if there is plenty of free parking available in short walking distance.
