The place is nothing short of amazing. The building itself has so much history, and the grounds around it are huge. You can really detach completely from reality but at the same time there is a connection to the motorway not too far away, and a few good restaurants within a 10 minute drive. The host was also excellent!

We arrived at the hotel after hiking for a few hours in the rain and what a blessing! The hotel was very warm and cosy, the bed very comfy with thick blankets!! The room was very clean and the host extremely friendly. We also had an excellent dinner! I really enjoyed my stay! We couldnt try the pool due to the bad weather, so we will have to come back! :)
Everything was nice, comfortable, and good-looking. You are like, return to the past. This place is for sure for visiting. Only one thing if you want to sleep in the morning, this place, not for you, nose from cars would trouble you. But for me it was ok. This place must be in list of visiting in Italy.
