Great central location just next to the railway station. Very friendly staff at the reception desk. Room is big enough for comfortable stay. It was very hot day, but air condition worked perfectly. Very nice and comfy room, with a lot of small details, decorations, which makes you feel welcome. Bed is ok, sleeping quality more than good. It's possible to make room totaly dark during the night – it's great for better sleeping. It was extremely hot day, but air condition worked well. Very friendly hosts. Spotless clean appartement with separated bedroom, spacious bathroom, well equipped, speedy WiFi, comfortable couch and bed. All the windows allow a view on the mountains. There is a parking slot dedicated to the apartment. And there is a fantastic vast terrace, fully equipped, well exposed, with great views on the mountains. Luigi who welcomed me was really nice and helpful, and left all the necessary for a breakfast. In a nutshell, I absolutely loved it !

This was an unexpected stop when the train strike meant we were stranded in Avezzano. Hotel Velino is 3 mins walk from the station, but on the right side of town for lots of lovely restaurants (only 5 mins walk away). It’s newly refurbished, great aircon and very comfortable beds. The receptionist was very helpful, including giving us advice on how to continue our journey by bus the next day. We had a double plus single all for €90, inc breakfast delivered to the room. Perfect. Thank you.
An old house with several rooms in Avezzano. The host doesn’t speak any English but is welcoming and friendly. The rooms seem a bit old-fashioned but clean, spacious & good for a night or two. Heating works. For this price, overall fine.
Such a lovely place you cannot imagine this exists in Avezzano... Modern, very well equipped, very well decorated. The breakfast os great... and the bathroom is a dream!! Thanks a lot to Carmine and his wife for such a wonderful stay.
