This hotel is ideally situated in a valley in the Dolomites. It is a short drive to Tres Cime and the Sextan area. Great for hikers and cyclists with restaurants and supermarkets close by. The room was comfortable with a balcony and view of the mountains. The hostess was very friendly and since we had a very early start , supplied us with an excellent boxed breakfast .

Hotel and restaurant buildings don't look attractive form outside. Quite old buildings, long time without renovation.
But entering inside changes everything.
Hotel room very clean, in classic style, rustically furnitured. bathroom clean as well.
In the restaurant very good food (including pizza).
Breakfast in the morning in continental style (croissant, coffee, some jams) but for additional 5 euro you may order sausages, scrambled eggs, set of local cheeses, mortadella etc.
I recommend the place to stay when you are visiting Dolomites and you don't want to loose a fortune for hotels in Cortina.

Apartment seems to be relatively new with nice mountainous design, finished to good standards, very clean, warm and cozy. Kitchen sufficient to make some basic meals, private car park just next to the main road. Beautiful nearby town of Auronzo with nice restaurants and lake with bluish water, highly recommending views from the dam and walk around the lake.

What a beautiful town, full of mountain charm. The scenery and lake are stunning. There a a variety of food options and cute stores, but pay attention to hours of operation.we truly enjoyed the restaurant Moma, in the Hotel Diana and it’s sister restaurant, La Zupo up the mountain at the first gondola stop. The Fun Bob is a must, at the adventure park! They have great open air markets by the lake and have amazing food & items for sale.

Set in the Dolomites it was close to some places of interest...
Set in the Dolomites it was close to some places of interest. I am sure the area lends itself to good skiing and there was a lot hikers about too for October. There seemed to be a lot of facilities- though a number of places were closed I.e. shops, hotels and restaurants. I suspect that changes when the snow comes. The Dolomites has a good reputation and l am sure it is still living to that standard

Great apartment for couple, with fully equipped kitchen (fan, vacuum cleaner, iron, washing machine...), excellent bathroom, small terrace overlooking the lake, supermarket 50 m away, friendly hosts, excellent communication. Auronzo di Cadore is very nice place, with wonderful lake, near all you need to see. Heartfelt recommendation
Great breakfast with local ingredients. Rooms were well cleaned. Hotel staff were very welcoming, helpful and generous. Good location, Auronzo di Cadore is a beautiful village. Easy to get to other parts of the dolomites.
