Albergo Al Sole is in the main square of the medieval village of Asolo. Its La Terrazza bar and restaurant is very popular and offers views of the historic center.

We spent one night here and immediately wished we had more time. Pierce, the proprietor, provided loads of information about the area and great recommendations. Our room was spacious and very comfortable - and it is clear that much care and attention has gone into the restoration of this property. We also enjoyed breakfast at the communal table on the patio. Asolo is a real delight to visit (this was our second time), and this was a great base with easy parking.

Asolo is an amazingly beautiful little town, and this very small hotel is a bit off the main tourist trail. It is simple, but they did a great job with the renovation. The room had a beautiful view of the mountains behind the hotel. It was quiet. It was comfortable. There is a free place to park quite nearby. Very happy with our choice to stay here.

Asolo is a beautiful, little hilltop village with a well preserved and authentic atmosphere. There are quiet roads and trails to discover on foot or on a bike. We also found some great restaurants in Asolo and in the Prosecco hill towns nearby. Spent three days there, but could have had more time in the surrounding area using Asolo as a base.

We love the little village of Asolo, we fly into Venice and then drive there - it is not too far from Bassano del Grappa - I prefer the food in Tuscany without a doubt - lovely little place to wander around in

The property was exceptional. Christina, the owner was there to greet us and showed us the facilities and the room which was wonderful. The views, the terrace, the various other rooms we could use for relaxing and the breakfast terrace were amazing.
We were a 5 minute walk from the centre of the historical town of Asolo which is a must visit location.
The villa is 400 years old and retains all of its charm, elegance and character due to the love and passion shown to it by Christina.
A truly superb stay.
There is a reason why Asolo is called the Pearl of the Veneto. This place perfectly compliments it, the architect restored the interiors perfectly to blend contemporary design with the old bones of the structure. It has style, good taste and the finishes and detailing has been dealt with a professional hand. I'm a minimalist so it was the perfect combination. The location, the view out the windows, privacy all didn't disappoint.
Nice clean room, with confy big bed. Being in the barchessa, the wooden floor and joists gave it a rurual look, but thats a plus comparing to traditional hotel rooms. My suite had also a private livingroom with a gigantic tv screen, a spacious bathroom and shower with side water jets. Great hosts and shuttle service made my one night staying really ejoyable. Extremely satisfied.
This place embodies why we love Europe and what we come for. The breakfast is the largest and best we have had in Italy. To stay in a beautifully renovated 15th century house full of antiques was very special. The hostess and her son were very kind and informative.
Location is down the hill from Asolo centre, so you need transport (taxi available). Beautiful garden.
Breakfast is good and staff very helpful.
Recommended.
