Location was perfect. In the centre square of the town, very rich history and the background Morena offered about the town was absolutely amazing. Morena’s hospitality and customer service was unmatched to anything I’ve seen in a very long time and I travel a lot across North America.

The host was very welcoming and the room was big. There was a safe space to keep my bicycle inside the structure. Breakfast was abundant with home made cakes and several other choices. I loved the story about the name of the house and the little.museum inside! For dinner there are a couple of restaurants in the town centre, a short walk away.

This property was old and charming, but convenient and comfortable. It’s in a nice location and has parking spaces available. They offer a delicious dinner in their dining room. There are not many restaurants nearby, so this was a very nice option. The view from our room was beautiful. The hotel owner/manager was pleasant and informative.

Great location to access the national park for hiking and rafting. It is a simple room but very nice. One of the best showers we've come across in Italy so far! Aircon is great to return to after a big day in the outdoors. Lots of food and drink options around (majority in busier area about 10 - 20 min walk / 5 min drive away). Large Conad shops down the road.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast nice but very simple.
Our room was superb with all the grandeur appropriate to a castle. The room was large and gracious. The spa bath was an unexpected bonus that added to the charm of our stay. The reception & dining area of the Castella di Altomonte is exquisite. These beautifully restored rooms exude style & quality. This was matched perfectly by the food. We really enjoyed talking to our host & this added to our thoroughly enjoyable stay.
Everything was nice. It was much better than a 3-4 star hotels we stayed during our trip. Taking into account the price and view we had, I would say it is a 5 start :)
Also nice city, which was quiet but interesting to see and have a dinner.
Will definitely stay again next time when I'm in this region.
A lovely historic part of an 11th century castle…..but warm and comfortable. The position in the old citadel town of Altomonte and the views are stunning. The hotel staff are welcoming, and if you are driving there is safe parking.
