We didn't like much about it. There is nothing that I could say we liked. Some of the staff was ok, but that is mostly all about it.

The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed, even laidback. The staff - particularly in the cosy restaurant and stylish bar - were friendly, multilingual, and highly professional. Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable with a mountain view and with everything we needed including a kettle, fridge, and daily supplies of tea, instant coffee, and mineral water.
We chose half board and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet and the nightly salad buffet both had a generous and inviting range of options. We eat fish but not meat, and were really pleased by the choices every night from the two half board menus; one with meat and fish, one solely vegetarian, and with the ability to pick your dishes from both.
A typical dinner for us has comprised five courses: salad, soup, pasta, fish, and dessert - all of smallish size (but not the tiny Nouvelle Cuisine type of portion with more garnish than food), superb quality, and enough creativity in the use of ingredients and flavourings to make you feel “ooh; that’s a slightly new combination but it really works”. The fish and veg were perfectly cooked every time, the handmade pasta gorgeous, and the desserts truly excellent. On two of our nights there was a special menu: one night the desserts were provided as a buffet, and on another there was a Tyrolean buffet. That was mostly focused on meat eaters, but there was a good vegetarian soup and traditional dumplings of spinach and cheese, plus plenty of vegetables, so we didn’t go hungry. One thing that has seemed a bit strange to us: if you want cheese at the end of your meal you have to pay extra for it. Having said that, the salad buffet includes some nice cheeses and chutneys, so just have them at the start of the meal rather than the end.
The wine list is really good, with a particuarly lovely selection of local wines.

At first we booked this hotel because of the location because we dont want to worry about the road closure timing, and with the reservation we can drive up to the hotel at anytime we want. We have to admitted the price of this hotel is quite high but it was worth it!! The location is great, the view from your room is spectacular, the food here is remarkable (it is one of the best meals we had in the dolomites).

This region is super! It was our first time to visit so we were in awe of the views and the many options for recreation. We were there in July - considered off-season, so we had expected more stores and restaurants to be open that were not. We still had plenty to choose from, and only wished we had planned a longer stay to enjoy the region.

The location was tucked away in a small forest up in the Seiser Alm plateau. Peaceful and beautiful with an abundance of snowy hikes, cross country and alpine skiing from the front door. The hotel is modern traditional, not too fancy and showy but a perfect blend of the natural beauty surrounding it. The food in the restaurant was excellent but the service from the wonderful staff was what made the hotel and restaurant really special. We loved it so much we extended our stay and will definitely return.
The hotel is located not far from Compatsch, in a very quiet area. The view from the restaurant was gorgeous; personell was very welcoming and accommodating. Great garage. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Our room smelled of wood & pine. The owner of the hotel gave us tips for the hike to get the best view on the plato. Just outside is the carlift, however, it's absolutely quiet and didn't not disturb us.
Very well located as a ski resort and for summer. We drove up by a rented car, however it is easy to reach the place, transport within 150m of bus stop and other options like by cable car from lower down. Great walking tracks. You can have dinner at the hotel or surrounding eateries.
Breakfast was great. Above all, it is located in great location. Awesome views just outside the hotel. You can just go out and see the majestic Dolomites mountains surrounding Alpe di Siusi. Will surely come back.
