The location, we were provided a room with a view overlooking the mountains which was stunning. Akureyri is a beautiful town set in the mountains with amazing scenery.

So welcoming on arrival the staff filled us in about all about what was going on locally. Room had a cottage feel about it nice warming and cosy.The breakfast buffet was outstanding couldn’t rate it high enough. Really pleased we booked here would definitely book to stay again.

The room was very nice and spacious. The view of the fjord was breathtaking. Location was nice to spot whales.
In the evening we enjoyed the sunshine whilst Akureyri was already in a cold shadow.
