I didn't expect much when I first booked the room, but as it turns out the stay was great and comfortable. And compared to most Icelandic accommodation breakfasts that only serve cold items, this hotel serves a great spread with baked beans, sausages, scrambled eggs, assorted breads as part of the hot food options on top of the typical cold ham & cheese.
What surprised me is the restaurant dinner which serves delicious Beef burgers and Lamb burgers.
They do have an EV charging outlet at this hotel.
And petrol kiosks are about at least 30 mins drive away.

Beautiful location in-between 2 large bluffs and very nice people great haveing a full kitchen to share and cook in and the hill is perfect for northern lights views. Just wish they had a hotsprings or hottub on property or close by. Also beautiful horses and a baby whale skeleton on property that was incredible. Also super close to DIAMOND BEACH and Glacier bay

We saw the northern lights from the parking lot. Old building was a bit dated. Moved to the new wing and everything was great. Large windows to gaze at the stars. Good restaurant on site. Nice spot on the loop. Friendly and helpful staff went out of their way with a chocolate souffle and berries with ice cream and a birthday candle.

We stayed for one night as part of our South Iceland road trip. Comfortable and clean rooms, good beds and even Netflix provided on the in-room television. We enjoyed really great food cooked in-house (both dinner and breakfast) which was delicious and authentically local. Staff were friendly, location was ideal. Access to the rooms was easy, being able to park right next to the door (useful when carrying bags in the snow).

Everything about this guesthouse is great!
The owner was icelandic and very friendly. She even let our friend to use the showers for free and sleep in her camper van on the property!
The guesthouse is well equipped (2 shared bathrooms/restrooms!) and the breakfast was yummy, with homemade products.
The bedroom was roomy, with comfy beds. Everything was clean and functionnal.
The location is pretty quiet and the view is nice over the fields. You can see the ocean in the distance.
We stayed for one night and everything went perfect. Big rooms, comfy beds, clean baths & yummy breakfast.
That night was alarmed strong winds but we felt very safe inside the Hotel.
Unfortunately the storm broke one of our car’s window and the hostesses were so helpful and nice. They fixed it.
No luxury, but the purpose of the accommodation was fulfilled. Breakfast was Icelandic standard. Easy parking with plenty of space. A little overpriced like everything in Iceland.
