Beautiful rooms with a nice welcome committee by the two friendly and happy dogs!😇 The breakfast area is awesome and even if we were almost alone with a huge buffet where nothing was missing. The owner furthermore like to share some stories from his life which were highly appreciated👌

The property is beautiful located right across the lake and very close to Hengifoss in the East of Iceland. The host was really warm, the cabin really cosy and the bonus was the fireplace which kept us warm. The kitchen was well stocked and well equipped with all the basics and lovely crockery for cooking a nice meal. The hosts were kind enough to welcome us with some wine. Highlight was spotting the dancing Auroras right outside the house! Highly recommend this place.

The location is great to view the Studlagil Canyon in the evening and/or 1st thing in the morning. The room is tiny, but it has everything you need. There is a food truck within 100metres where you can grab dinner (open till 6pm) when we visited, or coffee and breakfast. Great location for a quiet night and a dark sky to see the Northern Lights.
