Thanks to Lola and your gorgeous family and property. The Iglúhús was a unique, cosy, comfy, wonderful place to stay in a stunning location. Not having a shower encouraged us to visit Hauganes Hot Tubs when it opened at 9am. Both of these experiences together were probably my favourite in Iceland! And we (kind of) saw the northern lights when accidentally waking up at 2am! It was genuinely so much fun.

The breakfast was not good, the yoghurt was sour and overall not very pleasant.

Our stay was extremely pleasant. Grenivik Guesthouse has been a beautiful surprise in the North of Iceland after days of camping. We would've definitely loved to stay longer to enjoy the peace, the comfort and the landscape. The house was very clean, our room was very comfortable and big enough for two, and all the common spaces were really well organized so we had our privacy but also some lovely interaction with other guests, and the hot tub has been a very pleasant extra to enjoy at sunset.
But the best part of our stay was definitely Ingólfur, the host. His welcoming was very warm and kind, he was very open and helpful as a host, he gave us a lot of tips as soon as we arrived, and prepared us a really delicious breakfast with a lot of local ingredients. Ingólfur was also very kind to stay with us during our breakfast -and even longer- to talk with us about Icleand history, traditions, culture, geography and all the curiosities we had. He has a special place in our hearts.
