We booked the superior double room having read reviews about small rooms. We did not experience this with our room. The room was really spacious with lots of space to store our luggage and hang our clothes. The bathroom was spotless and a very good size with a rainfall shower. The breakfast was the best we had in Iceland. A delightful selection of both hot and cold to cater for all tastes. Great location for exploring further afield.

Very cosy rooms and well equipped kitchen! The guesthouse is located in the middle of nature, making it the perfect spot to observe northern lights 😍

The value for money is good for an Icelandic stay and everything was clean. I especially liked that guests had to take off their shoes in the dorm section of the building because it was very muddy outside.

I am sure there will be more activity and beautiful place to see in a nice day or summer. We are luck to get good temp in our trip (most day above the freeze and one day reached about 10C). We are not luck since there is no sun in all the trip except when we fly back to US. The mountain and beach are great even with cloud and frog.

Opportunity to see and enjoy beautiful untainted nature in...
Opportunity to see and enjoy beautiful untainted nature in the south of Iceland. Most of all we loved the Fjadrargljufur Canyon and Dverghamrar Cliffs and two wonderful glacier lagoons within easy driving distance, Fjallsarlon and Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. In the evening we had a lovely dinner at the Fosshotel Nupar.
Great place to view the Northern Lights in the right season.
