I stayed at Ásbrandsstadir several times in the past, this is the first time in the new cabin. For a single traveler there was plenty of room. The cabin is equipped with everything. The views to the snow capped Krossavikurfjoll mtns were stunning.

This is a great property for this little town. The owner has done a marvelous job of turning a very old house into a guesthouse. She has left many of the old features (charming), while updating. We liked the hostess very much, and she was very helpful with tourist information. (She works as a tour guide.)
