Collecting keys was easy, apartment was spacious and clean. Very cute place and in wonderful location, we loved Husavik. Laundry was shared and was greatly appreciated. Host was very responsive. Might be our favorite accommodations of our 8 day road trip, we wish we could have stayed longer.

It's a little tricky to find, it's across from the bakery, there is a little sign, just not where GPS said. Great location, inside is beautiful and very friendly.

Loved the “Eurovision” theme + bar + museum + it even had Elves houses! A must if you’re here bc of the Eurovision movie as I was. 200 meters from the restaurants and harbor center. Clean, great bed, I rented the corner room with harbor view, and enjoyed that. Parking was great. Not a luxury hotel, but friendly staff who also ran the bar. I’d stay here again while in Húsavík.

A very sweet guesthouse right in the center of the lovely town of Husavik. Super easy to walk around and access the whale watching, etc. The stairs are narrow and the accommodation very simple (old microwave and minifridge in the narrow hall) and no community room - breakfast is delivered to your small room - but everything is clean and thoughtfully presented. The host is super helpful and fun too!

We had an amazing stay at Saltvik farm! The property has stunning views and the rooms are in a converted cow barn. The room was quiet and cozy and had everything we needed. The staff at check-in were nice and the location is wonderful... right outside of town. This place will always be special to us as we got to see an incredible northern lights show for the first time. The lights were right outside the front door and we were the only ones around to fully enjoy the experience. Truly magical!!
This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The views of the bay and the snowcapped mountains are breathtaking. The area's artic geology has been studied in detail by the University of Birmingham, and you can observe directly over 4 million years of geological activity. There is an excellent brochure on the matter available at the nearby guesthouse. This is a key location to explore Husavik and its surroundings. I'd recommend the whale-watching tours.
