The location in the middle of nowhere is just superb. The gentleman in the reception was really kind and there were 2 lovely doggies to welcome us too! The room was spacious, clean and with some essential stuff in the “kitchen” (kettle, coffee, tea, cups and glasses). The breakfast was really good, in a big dining room with a variety of choices that he cooked himself. Really liked the place! The hotel is only a 5 min. Drive from Hengifoss so don’t miss out!

This is a modern, lovingly decorated wooden house with good heating and a fire with wood provided that made it even more cosy. The host provided yummy cookies and a little bottle of wine as gifts. The view from the window of the tiny house is gorgeous and it was just a short drive to the parking lot where you can hike up to Hengifoss. We were lucky to see the aurora over the tiny house on our second night. The bed was comfortable and it was fabulous waking up to the view of the hill opposite. We have a steep staircase up to our bedroom mezzanine at home so the tiny house's steep stairs didn't faze us but could be a struggle for some.

The family Meal was amazing a lot of food, more than the 7 guests at our table could finish. It’s very rural which suited us just fine, I note some reviewers not so much.
This is a tiny gem in an unbelievable location. It is a true bargain!
Oh my! Tiny but complete. It has a useful kitchen! Microwave, cooktop with two places, refrigerator, Wi-Fi, kitchen stuff including wine glasses. It's located a hundred meters from the West canyon overlook!
There are only shades on windows, not curtains, so there is endless daylight that sneaks around the edges. Use an eye mask! You have a router all to yourself so strong signal but password is small and located over door. We note this because our neighbor tapped on the door at 20:30 asking if we had the password. Each cabin should be unique but we told him to look over his door.
