Just amazing! The location, the facilities, the hotpot, the rooms, the kitchen,… the only thing I regret is only staying for one night.
The location is perfect to explore the north-east. The private hotpot is just great and the kitchen has everything you need (except a coffee machine but there was instant coffee so it was totally fine).
There is even a barbecue grill and outside an table and chairs.

Spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was well-equipped. Great that the hot water doesnt have the sulphur smell unlike at some places we stayed at, perfect for a nice hot shower after a long day.

Everything’s great, the best of my stay in Iceland
If your main goal to see the northern lights, this is the best place you can imagine. The sky is dark, no sources of light pollution around, mountains aside are not tall, so you see the sky from left to right without obstacles. We had chance to see beautiful northern lights, and it was awesome. Just use one of two large spaces on the road that lead to the hotel, there are the darkest spots for observing. Hotel is very clean and soundproof. Good breakfast.
This hotel is across the road from Goðafoss Waterfall near Lake Myvatn which is perfect for an early visit of the falls. We viewed the falls before breakfast which was excellent. There are several different rooms at this hotel. We didn't know what type of room we would have before arrival. The room was a good size but the shower was tiny.
Best hotel with a view in ICELAND, we definitly recommend everyone to book the Delux KING suite as the Godafoss falls is visible from your room day and night, we stayed during full moon it was spectacular. And if you are lucky like us, you could catch Northern lights from your room.
Ms.Astrid was really helpful during our 3 day stay.
Definitely worth the money!! We were quite surprised as it was definitely the cheaper options And we booked last minute dew to misunderstanding from the hotel down the road. This place should double in price from the value and quality we received. 🙌🏽 Wish we could’ve stayed longer!
The room was spacious and clean, the location is very close to Godafoss and the owner quite nice. Self check in was perfect as we were arriving quite late.
